I love my remora. I doubted it at first, but I can run and play tag with my kids at the park and it has never moved on me. I even have their tuckable version, for times when I need to dress up..LOL

Have you looked into "Beyond 5/3/1"? He has a few new variations in there that may freshen things up.

A few things. squats and deads on the same day is fine for a while, as you keep getting stronger you may find the need to do them on different days. prehab and rehab, look up agile eight on youtube and ditch the trainer. I think 5 x 5 would be better than what he has you doing now.

I would let the weak arm dictate weight and reps, otherwise the imbalance will remain. You will feel like the stronger arm is not getting as much of a work out but over time it will even out.

My TDEE is around 4000 to 4200 and like you I can run a big deficit for awhile, but I like to eat, so I just use the TDEE minus 20%. As you have found out even if you have the room for a large deficit, you will stall.

The picture below is about the best I could find for bar position (high vs. low bar). Not only will the pad mess with stability, it also will change angles of the lift. You wouldn't think a 1/2 an inch would make a difference but it does. You also may simply need to build up your traps a bit also.
