Thanks to all these replies. I feel a lot better hearing what you all have to say. As for my stats in answer to MFP moderator's questions, I eat anywhere from 1100 to 1500 cal per day. I don't supplement with pills, but I drink an Amazing Grass brand chocolate superfood shake every morning with almond milk. I exercise at…

I tried that last night and got full before I could finish. That's when I kept eating past feeling full. When I got done, (still couldn't get through it all) I felt stuffed and honestly, felt bad that I kept eating. So I don't know what to do. Here again this morning, not hungry, but at least ate 2 eggs. I'm more concerned…

Fitnessblender.com. I'm becoming a broken record about this site but I love it.

Thanks for the gret advice everyone! I went today and got my GOOD shoes. The Salesperson had me walk on a treadmill and showed me somethings on a video that was recording it. She measured my feet too. They cost a pretty penny but are worth every cent. They feel great! Also, the store does a 12 week couch to 5k program…

Definitely bring your own food. Try to eat a meal at home before your shift. You could keep healthy snack baggies in your car or even a tiny cooler for fruits and stuff.

I started out at 287 and have lost about 20 pounds since. It's still really hard for me to do anything high impact and bouncy because of ankle and knee pain. I have been doing some low impact routines from Fitnessblender.com. I have noticed a big difference in my arms, especially. Arm circles, as easy as they sound, really…

Nothing yet, but I officially demand that I be able to answer this question in a year! New goal!

Add me  I have been wanting to be part of a group who understands this struggle, hurdle, lifestyle change...whatever you want to call it. I love my family, friends, and co-workers, but I'm really alone in battling this with determination. Most people I know don't want to talk about health and weight loss and if it…

I bought a sweater from Zulily a year ago. The size was the right for me with all other clothes...but not this sweater. My arms were too big. I kept it though so that I could use it for motivation. I'm doing my weigh ins every week, but every month, I'm taking my measurements. Part of that ritual is, if I lose inches off…

What do you think is better to do: freeze chicken in marinade until ready to use or marinate chicken, cook it, then freeze it for later?

My favorites aren't actual books but websites. I'm doing the same as you and basically making my own giant binder cookbook of hits. Right now, these are my favorites recipe places: Our Best Bites - I have yet to find a dud! Emily Bites Skinnytaste

At the top of the page, click Food, then Recipes. It will let you copy and paste an address of a recipe or click under it on the enter manually hyperlink. Just be careful it recognizes all your ingredients and measurements. It has a bit of trouble with that part.

I spent a long time fixing nearly all the recipes I had put in because it would put in a cup of salt for a teaspoon and a cup of garlic for a clove. Fixable, but very annoying.

I saw another reply that mentioned this, but you could be eating too few calories. You can gain weight from that as well. I would take it as a sign, because your stomach grumbles at you. But I also agree that you probably need to to exchange some of your fat calories for better foods that will help you feel full. Since you…

My mom and I have a habit of getting bunches and cutting them into strips and then freezing them in baggies. They work just great and last so long!

Go to fitnessblender.com. Do a search for thighs and it should pull up several workouts. The one I'm doing right now is Pilates for Thigh and Buttocks. If a burn is a good indicator of how well it works, then this workout works just great!
