  • belive it or not, I've tried just plain fruit, no syrup etc. I seem to need protien for breakfast now. If I have 1 cup of yogurt and some cereal I'm good, just no waffles, pancakes or just toast. Have to have a little more. Does anyone else notice that problem?
  • I'm not ready to give up my venti chai or venti vanilla lattes yet. I ask for them sugar free fat free, but they were really nasty, so I get them fat free and cut back to 1 or 2 a month. I'm very sad about that. I do drink chai at home w/ splenda and a little fat free 1/2 and 1/2 very yummy!

  • This is going to sound wierd, but I can't eat waffles any more because of that same problem, I've even tried using fruit as a topping Somthing just makes me process waffles really fast. It seems really odd, but I have them as a snack at night or as dessert from time to time.

  • I currently weigh 255 lbs and my goal weight is 150 lbs, so you are definately not alone. Just remember that even a 5-10% weight loss can drastically improve your health. In other words, every pound lost is a victory!
  • My dietitian has told me there is no medical science behind most food myths. (I have heard them both as well) Her theory is that vinegar etc will not hurt you so if you want to try it go ahead. As far a celery goes, you can actually get too much of a good thing. Just make sure you're balanced.
  • I work in a diabetes program in a public health setting. You can actually get too much fruit. The FDA recommends that you get at least 5 servings of fruits & veggies a day. If you go to mypyramid.gov it will break it down individually for you based on your own needs.
