If you're looking at peanut butter to get your protein in you're probably looking in the wrong place. The calorie/protein ratio is pretty high, especially when compared to chicken, beef, pork, etc. However, if you're looking for nutty, creamy deliciousness then you're in the right place. And there is no acceptable…

I'm all for it. I tend to have more success when I don't drink at all but sometimes an occasion or meal just calls for a good quality beer, glass of wine, or cocktail. I definitely stick to the "good stuff" when I do imbibe.

Bourbon rocks, bourbon and diet, vodka and diet tonic, etc. Just be sure to accurately measure your pour if you're worried about the calories. It can get heavier as the day wears on.

I had no idea alkaline water was a thing. I like the chilled/filtered water from my fridge. Sometimes I drink straight from the tap. It's refreshing, hydrates my body, and is essentially free.

Going out for lunch. Hopefully a fried onion burger.

It's not good or bad as long as you're meeting your calorie/macro goals. I've used bars (Clif Builder Bars, etc.) in a pinch for breakfast on the go but I'll usually only eat them if I got in a big workout (burned 1,000+ cal) and need to eat something.

Good stuff right there!

Seeds are my go-to road snack. On days when I have a lot of windshield time a bag of seeds keeps me occupied and less likely to pull over to the Mickey D's when I hit the next town.

I make big batches of smoothies using Greek yogurt, bananas, mixed berries, and milk. Then I freeze them in ~400 cal servings and partially thaw for breakfast or dessert so it's like having a protein/fiber-packed version of frozen yogurt. My Ninja is dishwasher-safe so it's easy to clean, particularly since I only make…

So..... "bulletproof coffee" is just a fat delivery system for those who can't get enough through food? Huh. My personal preference would be to eat my delicious fats and drink my coffee strong and black. Why make "bulletproof coffee" when you could just as easily have some delicious black dark roast and a plate of salty,…

I've lost (and kept off) 60 lbs over the past 6 years and am at the high end of "healthy" BMI. Nearly everyone that knew me at my heaviest tells me how good I look and that they're proud of me for making changes in my life. Except my wife. She always says I look too skinny. :\

Mmmmm..... coffee In for coffee memes and gifs.

Get the turkey on the smoker then go for a 5-6 mile run.
-
At least 1 pot of strong, black coffee every day.

It's legit if they're truly worried about ALL THE GATHERINGS (not just the 2 major holidays). My gauntlet: My birthday - Oct 16 Halloween Daughter's birthday - Nov 15 Thanksgiving Office Christmas pot luck Company Christmas party Christmas Eve (my family) Christmas Day (extended friends/family) Daughter's birthday - Dec 30…

I'll also be smoking mine in a BGE. And like dbmata I'll be brining for a day or so in preparation. When smoking I'm not sure if I'll use a maple/BBQ mop or cover it in a bacon mat to be self-basting...

1 cup of plain 2% Greek yogurt 1 cup of Kashi GoLean cereal Multivitamin Lots of strong, black coffee

I'm also from Oklahoma but would never dream of giving whiskey to my children... The stuff I drink is way too expensive to waste on the kids!

I'd say they're more along the lines of "meh". If I'm having chips I'd rather budget my calories and have the real thing.

Jerky all day long!
-
You're lucky. My long runs make me ravenous. It's harder for me to stay under maintenance when I burn 1800 cals on a 12 mile run than on days where I don't work out at all.
-
I make a big batch of Greek yogurt and berry smoothies, portion it out and freeze. I grab and go to eat at my desk in the morning. It's like breakfast ice cream. Mine are a little over 300 cals with lots of protein so you could have a smaller portion or cut down to 3 100 cal snacks that day.

When i did C25K I didn't have a smartphone. I downloaded free podcasts that had music and direction on when to run, when to walk, etc. I got them at coolrunning.com and listened to them on my old-school iPod.

I now pay more attention to all my macros (not just calories) so I eat more dietary fat. I get it in things like whole eggs (not just whites), 2% or whole milk (no more skim for me), and real ice cream! These things taste much better than their "light" counterparts and can be easily worked into my day.

Leftover brunswick stew and strong, black coffee.
-
Nah. No protein in it. I'll keep my 2%.
-
And my Starbucks preference is strong, black coffee. Delicious!

Hurting your stomach is not due to caffeine, it's acid. Darker roasts are more acidic and lighter roasts are less. So enjoy your increased caffeine levels without the tummy ache!
-
Red beans and (brown) rice with turkey sausage. About 2 cups total. I love random leftovers for breakfast!

I do my best to track anyway. If I overeat because of poor choices or good choices (like MAN, those ribs are GOOD) then I log the food, take the hit, and try to do better the next day. If I just don't track at all it's a guaranteed gain, particularly if it's for several days in a row. Even when I try to eat good food in…
