Hi MFP! I have been on for just over a week and have lost 10 pounds! I can't believe what just simple calorie counting and moderate exercise can do. Anyone else here from LA?

I take in whole wheat and grain carbs. I do quite arying workout routines. I am sure I just need to be patient. It is just so hard to be patient when you have been heavy for most of your life and are only now enjoying healthy lifestyle habits.

I do this every day too. I want to force myself to see what the fat looks like, just like MFP forces me to look at my daily food and caloric intake.

Every day I snack on low-cal whole wheat bran and blueberry muffins I make, which are nothing but healthy and full of fiber. I usually eat three during the day. I am at that place where I am eating 5 times a day but only healthy foods and leafy greans, grains. I work out a minimum of 30 minutes a day. Yet, there is no change on the scale! ARG!!!

umm... I actually do something kinda silly. First of all, instead of an alarm clock, I use a digital kitchen timer. I have for years. I set the timer for how ever many hours I want to sleep until I need to wake up, then start it right before bed. I have one that actually beeps lightly when there is 10 and 5 minutes…
