Hi, I would like to join the group! I am at 203 and am a former member of MFP. When I stick to my posting I lose easily but now I am lacking motivation other than a cruise in June. I will be with you all the way! (have to).

Icandoit, I am new again :) to MFP and I stick to my loggings and calorie caps pretty well. I don't go over my 1200 unless I have worked out. Keeping this in mind, I also have a penchant for diet coke. I can drink it all day. As long as I don't go over my calories, am I ok to drink it?

I would say.... Grow out yor bangs and put DOWN the Little Debbie cake.

I have been horible this summer. I am a teacher, so that means lots of free time. Unfortunately, I have spent most of it chowing down to the tune of 10 extra pounds! Not too bad, but when you already have 40 to lose, that is not good. WHen I religiously used MFP, I was my smallest ever! I need its help again. I have got to…

Ok, after a THREE WEEK hiatus (lazy, stressful work), I am back with a vengance!
-
The more the better! My 2 fav workout songs (cardio) are "Run" by Gnarls Barkley and "Town Called Malice" by The Jam. Awesomeness on a platter.
-
Oh, i forgot how good that album was!
-
I love that JKL remix of that one. Very energizing
-
No, I ate my workout calories. It was just an off week I am sure. I just needed to vent. I sooo badly want the scale to start with 17 instead of 18
-
Hi. I am bumping this because so many people have commented to me that they like the music people have been contributing. This is awesome!

This week was the most I have ever pushed myself. I worked out quite dilligently every day this week since Monday. I pushed myself longer and harder than I ever have at the gym, always leaving with a soaking wet shirt. A minimum of an hour and 15 minutes, a max of 2 hours. All cardio. No breaks. I have consumed about…

Oh, i need to try that!

What do you think of when you are working out? I have to kinda zone out so I am not aware of my boredom. I usually imagine myself in a band playing the song I am listening to. I will do anything to take myself out of the workout setting. Weights are one thing, as you are constantly stopping and starting, but cardio is…

Yeah, that is a fav of mine, and a must on my playlists. I actually use it for cardio.
-
I have gotten several awesome ideas. Thanks so much. Please feel free to offer more.
-
Thanks! I found several songs from the "Curves" CDs.
-
THanks! Oh, that "Run" song from Gnarls Barkley is on my ipod 4 times! It is such a motivator!
-
You are an inspiration, as someone who is also stuck in the 180s!
-
lol yeah, i have a little NIN but that's it. That was the only way to classify it, as it sure is scary to me :)
-
Thanks. It really is nice to know how many other people go thru this.

oh, so bad. I haven't recorded food since friday. My downward spiral started witha muffalata for lunch and then it just escallated from there! But, I am feeling confident today and am going to record every crumb! I need to undo the damage I did this weekend.

Hey, I am getting BORED at the gym! I have about 100 songs on my mp3 player and I need new ones. I love classic rock, anything 70s, 80s, and even 60s motown. But, I don't like country, most techno, and scary rock (disturbed, etc.). Give me songs! Just list away. I have searched high and low but can't find anything else.

Whenever I work out I CONSTANTLY have to yawn. In an hour I will yawn 20 times. It happened in step class and my teacher asked if I was bored. I was SOOOO embarrassed! I am not tired, it just happens. What's up with that?

One word (those of us Sex and the City fans know it): Frenemies!

I experienced this last night. I worked out pretty vigorously and stopped around 730. I went to bed at 930 and tossed and turned until 1am! I was so reved up. It wasnt even like I had sleepy eyes but couldnt fall asleep. No, my eyes were WIDE AWAKE! Needless to say it is "activity day" in my classroom, as I am too tired to…

Hey. I only just mastered it. I thought that since it is so hard to go down at first I had to increase the looseness of steps. This is not true. Start where you are barely making any step. Quick pace. After, raise the level by one every minute or so. Stay in the first "zone" until you are able to keep pace with the harder…

Hang in there. I had a HORRIBLE DAY yesterday, consuming almost 3000 calories. All this after losing 12 pounds in 2 weeks. I am atoning for my eating sins today and sticking to veggies and tuna. Oh, and cleaning the heck out of my house.
-
I used to every morning after taking care of digestive business :) But now every 2-3 days, as I was tied of seeing a lack of day-to-day progress.
-
Good luck. Hang in there. I am hating myself because I was doing well for 2 straight weeks. Then yesterday I went to a crawfish boil and ate so freaking much. Like 2500 calories! I am back on the wagon today, tho. Be strong.

I hate the hidden immunity Idol. Has it ever been used in a good way? Used to be you could wait and use it at the very end, but this set-up is too complex.
