Peanut butter... dang I can eat a jar of it easily.

Taking pictures was one of the best things I ever did! I'm glad that you saw the change you needed. Sometimes it doesn't click until we see just how far we've come. Great job!

Forgot to ask: are you prone to migraines? Are you weighing and measuring everything? I noticed a lot of items listed in grams, but other foods were just listed as "half." A general FYI: it'll be easier if you're consistently weighing and measuring your food and drink. As for your headaches, I don't know. It could be a lot…

Are you eating anything different? Can you open your diary? How frequently are you eating?
-
Headaches as in one long headache since Tuesday or a lot of smaller headaches? Have you taken anything for it?

Welcome! Definitely make use of the forums as it really does help during your journey.

>:) haha! Tell them that the smell of their hand is a good indication of health. Then.... smash their hand in their face.

One day over won't ruin your progress. You didn't put your weight on in a day; you won't take it off either. Your healthy lifestyle isn't a race with a destination. Just keep going and enjoy the ride!

Just do your own thang, girl! All the runners on MFP were like that once. I may look goofy, but it beats the heck out of sitting on the couch. I listen to my run mix and tune the world out. Welcome to the awesomeness that is running!

Just when I think they won't come up with another flavor... :o

When I was told I'd be labeled a diabetic if I didn't lose weight. That and I was just tired of not having control over my own body. It's scary: your body is 100% undoubtedly yours, yet not being able to control it is a terrible feeling.

Although I do have the utmost respect for specialty stores, I would just go by what feels right. You can get great running shoes at most department stores. However, you simply need to know about the support you'll need. Personally, I spent $8 on mine because they were on sale. I've run two 5ks and have logged over 100…

Do. Not. Want. They all look disgusting and odd. No thanks. I'll stick to real (normal) food.
-
Definitely this! I'm so glad I did. Take it one day at a time. Not every day will be perfect, but just keep logging/ weighing/ measuring and understand that this isn't a race. Good luck!

For me, it was the second half. There was just so much happening BECAUSE of my weight loss: I literally had no shorts or pants that fit, comments from friends and family about how different I looked, the difference I felt waking up in the morning with no pain anymore, and just my own feelings of accomplishment for finally…

For a week it is for many. Regardless, that wasn't the point.

I think I have the Vitafusion sour gummy vitamins. No clue about sugar. I used to be terrible about taking my vitamins, but now I look forward to it lol.

This. Can't help but to feel bad for them. Yes they choose to do it, but I'm sure wanting to lose weight is just as important as the money. Unrealistic eating and exercising goals are a recipe for disaster and one, paycheck or not, I probably wouldn't be willing to push myself towards.

June 6th for me. I'll add you. It's cold right now, but will hit it hard when it warms up a little.

No offense, but that sounds awful lol. I tend to go very basic with breakfast. Most days it's just cereal and milk. Some days though, I feel like I want to eat lighter. That's when I eat some Greek yogurt or some cottage cheese and jelly. No matter the breakfast I almost always pair it with a cup of coffee lol.

This. I was on Prednisone for 2 years and hated it. I was always hungry. It definitely contributed towards my weight gain. Luckily, I got off of it and the insatiable appetite ended.
-
I'm below average in everything. Supposedly, if everyone in the world was the same as me, it would remove over 31 million tons. :o Aaaand I'm most like someone from Rwanda. I'm built like a runner.
-
Wow... That's quite a jump in mileage. Captain Hindsight here, but definitely would've went to something more manageable... and right after you ran a 5k? That's a good way to injure yourself as you need time to rest and recuperate. Regardless, good luck and keep us posted.

Just know bad days happen. You go out and overeat, but tomorrow is another day. Healthy living isn't always linear as it has ups and downs. Chalk this up to a down day. Don't beat yourself up and don't restrict your calories tomorrow. Just eat at a slight deficit tomorrow and move on. This isn't a race. You WILL mess up.…

We had a family that sat behind us like that. The floor around their table was an absolute mess. It looked like more food was on the floor than what they ate. *eyeroll* I love the Chinese buffet near my house. Not at all authentic really but oh so delicious. I eat waaay too much General Tso's there.

OP, give it more than 2 days. You didn't put all the weight on in 2 days; don't expect to take it off in 2 days either. Just be patient. :)
-
That sounds amazing!

Sounds like caffeine withdrawal or just a shock to your system if you went cold turkey on sugar and your old diet. I don't know enough about food allergies, but it could be an allergic reaction. I have an ex who is allergic to chocolate and says she gets terrible headaches if she eats it.

But.... it's Golden, which makes it okay.

Ninja'd! Great minds think alike. :D
