If its working and you're happy with it I'd stick with it. This diet was never my intention, however for me eating healthy and low calorie during the week then having 2 naughty days on the weekend is working perfectly and the weight is coming off nice and slow in a healthy way x

Nope just start off with simple things that you can find on YouTube and then as you feel braver you can progress :) I use free weights a lot and then do things like squats , leg press and bench!! My goal is to lose weight and I've done this from lifting what I consider heavy. My weight loss has been much better since lifting so I'd say defo start now!

Rest days are very important. If you over do it then it does more harm than good, your body needs a decent amount of time to recover.

Personally I'd ignore his advice and keep aerobic and weight lifting separate ..If I wanna get my heart rate up I do cardio so when I'm lifting I can go heavy at a steady pace with correct form. Cardio does burn more calories correct but you stop burning calories as soon as you stop what you're doing but lifting weights…
