I removed everything from my bedroom except my bed, one small chair, my 5 favorite wall hangings, and a bedside table. I also still have a small shelf of exercise equipment. I pared down all my possessions to fit comfortably in my closet (clothes, shoes, suitcases, stuffed animals gifted by my husband, etc). My quality of…

Never adjust your weight either way for a man (unless he is your physician or nutritionist). If someone you are dating is calling you "fat" get rid of him now.

It helped me, if just in helping me see how much I was eating and how many calories are in some foods.

I have been using Blue Apron. I've found that if I put the individual ingredients in MFP, the calorie count is much higher than what they say on the recipe card. I'm going to try another meal planning service called "Fresh 20" rather than the ingredient delivery service. It should save me quite a bit of money as well as…

This week I made a pot of chili and portioned it out over 5 days. Having this with a cheese snack and a naval orange. Other weeks I make a batch of soup that I have with raw fruits/veges on the side or 5 salads of some type for the week. I don't mind eating the same thing for lunch all week, makes calculating calories…

Try easier things. If you live/work/shop in a safe area, park at the back of a parking lot and get in some extra walking. Be sure to take stairs rather than an escalator or elevator. Walk around the block after dinner. Dance like no one is watching. Log everything that you eat as accurately as you can. Try to cut back…

I try to eat between 400-600 for each meal. I always eat breakfast and don't really care for snacks unless it is nighttime chocolate. I try to spread out my calorie intake across the day to keep my body fueled.

I went to a meeting today and a huge tub of mini candy bars was put on the desk right where I was sitting. I didn't eat a single piece. I was very proud of myself.

Definitely being cold. My husband complains because my bones dig into his lap. I sleep so much better. Having more energy and wanting to go outside (unless it is cold). Being in a better mood.

I lost 4 lbs the first week and 3 lbs the second week and 2 lbs a week for a month after that. I drank only water, cut out anything fried, dropped all ground meats, and ate a huge salad for lunch every day. The first twenty pounds was easy, after that it's kind of a struggle. You can do it!

Go to the store and look at 20 lbs of butter, then imagine that on your body. Does it make a difference?

I'm so not a vegetarian, and I must have my morning coffee! However, I have used the information to change many of the things I eat and how much of what I eat. What now tastes good to me has changed dramatically from before, and my mood and energy levels are much better. I think the point is actually to eat foods with high…

17 years later I still have some loose skin, but it's nothing to be ashamed of. Much like my grey hair, I earned it through hard work. ;)
