bump. You are amazing. Beautiful!

I get one of those 80 calorie yogurts and dump in 1/4 cup of granola that has some chocolate in it.

I'm already your friend! Bring on the competition!! :D :D :D

Please feel free to add me! I used to weight 280 pounds and have trimmed it back to the 230s with the help of MyFitnessPal. I'm on almost everyday and am working to correct some very terrible eating and exercise habits. I'd love to help you out. My Diary is open so you could look at that for food ideas!

Please add me! I'm very active and love encouraging people to succeed!

Thank you for posting these! You are such an incredible inspiration. You're absolutely beautiful! I've got 160 pounds to lose and it is great motivation to see that there are others out there with very high goals and they succeed! Keep up the hard work! You look amazing!

We all started at our worst/heavist/most downtrodden too! Welcome! :) Good luck! Add me if you like I'm on daily.

This isn't a race. So much of our world is focused on instant payoff and instant gratification, but that's not how this is going to work. It's gonna be a long slow uphill process. Gaining the weight was like dropping an anchor, effortless! But now you're hauling it back up from the bottom and that's gonna take a lot of…

Feel free to add me. I HAD 160 pounds to lose 4 months ago. Today I have 130 left to go. Every little bit of weight you lose helps! :)

I am almost ALWAYS the fattest girl in the gym, in the weight room, and in the pool. And if I can do it being as big as I am, I'm sure you can (you look so cute in your blue dress) :) Just force yourself there once, and then the second time it'll be easier because hey! you already did it!

I know the feeling. I was very scared to even sign up for a gym at first. And then I was scared to go in the free weight area. And most recently I was scared to swim in the pool. Last Sunday, I was also anxious and red faced because there was a tri-athalon club practicing in the pool (like over 50 people standing…

Yeah, that's so awesome for having those kiddos around! Great job!

Idk what defines active, but I think I am. I do a p90x DVD (to the best of my ability) in the am, walk briskly for 30 minutes at lunch, and hit up the gym for about 45 minutes of cardio (elliptical or bike) and 20 of strength training after work. And I swim as much and far as I can on Saturday and Sunday (usually about…

Lightly active I'd say.

"Are you trying to get fat?" "Yeah, I want to look just like your Mom." Ohhhh!

Congrats on feeling good! That's a good start :) I would say that you should watch your sodium, it can really jack up your weight. Make sure you eat 3 meals every day to keep your body's metabolism up and burning. And take a fiber supplement or eat some higher fiber foods. You might feel full because you're eating a lot of…

Don't weigh yourself so often and stick with it. Sometimes weightloss can stall. I sat at 24 pounds for a couple of weeks until I saw another pound drop off. You could also switch up your workout a bit and see if that helps! Good luck!

I think that a good thing to do is to recognize that this is going to take time. I know speaking for myself I get frustrated by slow results, but fitness and a healthy lifestyle take time and disciple. Go slow. First start using MFP to log only your exercise or only your food (or only food on weekends) Then build it up…

Weight loss that is done in a healthful and permanent manner is a long slow road. I see weekly weight fluctuations of up to 5 lbs sometimes. So, don't let 3 lbs discourage you and remember to take things slow. An aggressive challenging plan may not be sustainable for you, it's certainly isn't in my case. You should focus…

I did not see any change for a whole month. It takes your body a little while to catch up. Make sure you're drinking enough water and watch your sodium, that can make your weight seem higher. Good luck!

Getting on here is a good starting point! Everyone is super supportive and just generally wonderful! I would advise taking it one day/week at a time. Don't look at that big scary number that you "have to" get to, just look at it as "My goal is to lose 1 lb this week" or something like that. AND....i highly recommend giving…

Wow, trog your beard and stache are really awesome. Good for you!

Congrats on your amazing loss! It's going to take your mind some time to catch up to that new slammin' bod you've got :) Maybe you could go shopping for a couple of new awesome outfits? Get some new stuff that definitely fits your new body and hits all the right places. If you've got loose skin, grab some spanx for the…

This gives me such hope. I've got that much to lose too. You look INCREDIBLE and probably feel even better. And also, I think you were still very pretty when you were big :) Congrats!

Get yourself in a better mindset first. Start just loving yourself for who you are each day. Be grateful for what health you have and don't focus on the negative. Once you get to feeling good about yourself, it'll be easier to get on with the lifestyle changes. You won't self sabotage as much because you'll be proud and…

What a wonderful loss! NIce job!

Okay so. the bottom line is. MFP is just as divided as the rest of the internet!

That's for this post! It's nice to be reminded that I have to focus on the small accomplishments instead of getting fixated on that big massive scary "I have to lose this" number. I've got several of the same as you, but a few moments that stuck out to me so far: 1. I stumbled over a weight that had been carelessly left…

There are all kinds of markers of success and not all can be seen. Think about how your blood pressure and circulation are improving. Maybe you're sleeping better or feeling more relaxed. And I'm sure you're getting some muscles under there, they just haven't shown yet. And they will! Be patient with yourself and keep…

In my experience, I couldn't quit the terrible-yet-delicious foods cold turkey. I started by getting myself exercising everyday. Then I just worked to track calories. THEN I started with the food and I went slowly. I would say "Yes you can have A, but not B." I made it about trade offs instead of just sheer willpower and…
