new again. Back after 4 year gap. I've lost almost 10 lbs. so far. Just eating pretty clean. Did my first exercise dvd in years. Started with the 1 mile walk. I used those before, and I liked them a lot. Only made it a half mile. That's ok. Should be at a mile by the end of the week. I have not exercised at all in several…

I have a huge sweet tooth. I came up with a pumpkin pie receipe that good. 40 cals per serving, jello, I keep sf cool whip in the freezer. it it's frozen, its harder to take a big scoop. and sf pudding. lots of fruit.

hey, i'm back as well. lots of reasons. I think that this is the best program out there. it worked before, and it will work again for me. luckily I don't have as much to lose this time. :)

i make mine in the bullet blender. can of garbonzoes, juice of a lemon, about a tsp of salt, and a spoon of garlic. I use the juice in the can of beans to add enough liquid to make it blendable. You could add just about anything you want to flavor it. roasted red peppers, (jarred ones work the best) cumin, anything you see…

breakfast should not be coffee and a granola bar. just sayin'

have you tried tvp? (thats textured vegetable protien). meat sub. i get it in the dry crumbled form. add boiling water to rehydrate it. you can add to it pkg. of taco seasoning, or spaghetti sauce mix. I use it in salads and lots of stuff. tastes good too. a pak. cost under 3 dollars and makes alot. probably at least 20 or…

chop ckunky the eggplant, celery, onions, can of stewed tomatoes, mushrooms if u have them, minced garlic, cumin and dried basil. cover and simmer till veggies are tender. i like to serve with a little cracked wheat, and some imitation ground meat. dollop of yogert on top. had it for dinner tonite. it was goooood.
-
eggs, oatmeal, mashed fruit added to either the oatmeal, or to yogert, spaghetti, any veg, cooked extra, maybe mashed with a fork a little, refried beans and rice.
-
have you checked out thesodium in cottage cheese???? i just say no, even though i love it.
-
i would just put all the veggies in a pan, with some of the meat and heat together. add some yogert on top for a sauce.

whenever i look at anyone elses food diary, it just reinforces what a food nazi i am. I'm pretty tough on myself with my food choices. Don't get me wrong, i eat plenty, but it's almost always 0 fat, and good for me.
-
i eat lots of this stuff. big fan of the yves brand. it's what's available here for me. lemon "chicken" kabobs, ground "turkey", and taco stuffers are my fav. i also like the lunchmeat ones. i use them in my salads for the protien.

don't listen to other people. l lost in just over a year, 133lbs. you know if you're doing it the healthy way or not. stick with it.
-
what about dinner leftovers. i like cold veggies (broc, cauli, brussells) with some hummus or greek yogert on them. a piece of fruit, and i'm pretty happy.
-
no yolks here. besides the fact that they add so many calories, they are just gross.
-
me too!
-
i like canned pumpkin puree, splenda, pumpkin pie spice, and when it done, a dollap of greek yogert.
-
just me personally, i don't eat beans, except i do make my own low-cal hummus. Too many calories for me. When i get to my ideal weight, i will incorporate beans.
-
tablespoon of greek yogert. yummm.
-
i like to steam either, or both, chill, and use it in my salads. yummmmmm.
-
i also have a horrible time getting water down. it's always chilly here, and i'm just not thirsty. soooooo, i have been drinking decaf hot tea, and decaf coffee with a pinch of almond milk. bought me a cute jumbo teapot, and make a potful in the morning. i can usually get the pot down, while getting ready for work. If it…

i personally have "chicken issues". anyway, i have been getting alot of my protien from meat subs. They are basically just soy. low in fat, high in protien. i think that they taste yummy. the brand that i have the most access to is yves. red package. i struggled with the whole i should eat chicken, because it's low in fat,…

wowza!!! alot of that is probably from all the extra salt in the junk food. Get back on the wagon!!! Do you really want to go back down that road?
-
i was checking out the health food store the other day, and they have quite a range of bulk seasonings etc. Chicken broth was there also. reduced sodium. you could add a block of froz spinich, or some rinsed canned veg.
-
i use mine all the time. i don't really care for the k cup hot choc. they are really weak. i use the swiss miss diet 25calorie envelopes, and the hot water feature. I also drink alot of decaf with the 35cal almond milk, and splenda.
-
greens cold steamed veg (usually broc, or cauli, could be others) hb eggwhite red onion my lo cal hummus ff greek whatever odds or ends seem to be the flavor of the week
-
just say no.
-
i like to make scrambles, and put them over either a bed of spinich, or a bed of cooked broc/cauli. dollap of plain greek yo on top. maybe a little salsa.
