Starting out I ate low carb to control blood sugar. At around 20grams a day. Now I'm able to eat around 150grams a day and my blood sugar stays within range without medication. I was diagnosed t2 at age 12 and I got sick of taking the meds. Luckily I am able to now control it with diet and exercise. I hated taking insulin.

@ktrull09 Congtrats on the new job! I'm starting a new job and I have anxiety so I understand stress eating. Sounds like you got this and theres nothing wrong with an occasional treat of pizza. Obviously you're doing something right. :smiley:

I get a box subscription of hello kitty stuff from loot crate 4 times a year. Forgot all about it and was laughing when I tried on the 3XL tank top that came with it. Yay for NSV! :smiley:

August 9th Mini ChallengeCalories: tracked and under Exercise: 30 mins biking. Today was soooooo much better than yesterday. TOM hit today so when I weighed this morning I was shocked to see I had lost a little more. Hopefully I keep up the momentum and see a good number on weigh in day. *fingers crossed*

I've had a flood happen to me before, it's a ton of work! I'm sure you'll be burning more calories with that clean up than most exercises. Especially walking. Sorry you're going through this! :frowning:

Wtg @erikNJ ! It sounds like you did a lot of moving while on vacation. I was shocked at how much hiking burns compared to just walking a flat surface so I'm sure all those stairs and elevation really bumped up the calorie burn.

August 7th 2018 Mini ChallengeCalories: tracked and under Exercise: 45 mins biking Calories were under but I didnt realize what I ate had so much sodium in it. :neutral: so I'm a lil worried about weigh in tomorrow. Maybe I can drink a bunch of water to flush it.

August 2nd Mini Challenge Calories: tracked and under. Much better day. Exercise: spent an hour weedeating my parents yard for them. What a work out! Holding that thing up is better than strength training. Lol also 30 mins biking this evening.

I do the same thing almost every week. Luckily I seem to do really well the rest of the week so I end up with a loss. Would be better if I could push through those days because I know I'd show much bigger losses each week if I did.

Yeah, kind of wish I'd stopped tracking. Not sure why I was so hungry yesterday. Luckily today has been the opposite so hopefully I make up for it.

@txmaryk99 no, same job I had before (correctional officer) but at a newer prison that isnt critically understaffed. I'll now get my days off each week. I was working 6 weeks straight without a day off which is killer when trying to lose weight because stopping at mcdonalds or eating 1k calorie chow hall trays is easier…
