It IS possible, but I feel better when I eat more fruit. Just remember, your body will metabolize the sugars you get from fruits much differently than it will from things like simple starches and refined sugars ;)

Not going through all 16 pages, but here's my two cents -- the ingredients list. Most meat substitute stuff these days is frankenfood.

^^^THIS! Also, some people (myself included) cannot go vegetarian for health reasons. I've been told by MULTIPLE doctors now (and confirmed through tests) that I have issues taking in non-animal proteins, so monthly cheeseburgers for me!

Finally poking my head in. HI everyone! Biggest size was a 16, currently a 12, and am wanting to get back to being a 8 or a 6 like I was when I came back from Germany just over a year ago!

In cold weather I lean towards unsweetened essence waters like hint, cascade ice (when I want bubbles) and metromint (the chocolatemint totally takes care of any candy cravings I get!). I also keep them near room temp, but I think that's more a personal taste ;)

5'4" here. My first goal is to get back to about 140 which is about a size 6/8 for me.

Do you drink white wine or a lighter red by any chance? I like doing a wine spritzer -- half mineral water, half wine. That way I can still enjoy it and still get that bit of relaxation if I need it. Also, if I don't do that, I try to limit my alcohol to a couple times a week, and lately have been opting for tea to unwind…

Make mini crustless quiches!! I love doing that -- I bake about a dozen and then eat two or three.

Another suggestion is to google "once a month cooking" -- my mom helped us do it in college and its an awesome way to have meals simply ready to go! If you like soups you could also make two or three in bug batches and freeze portions that are easy to heat up!

Ugh... I hated that about college. I do have a suggestion to help fix things though! start a petition to the student government to offer better free food or to stop it all together!

I allow myself to have a little bit of my temptation -- I just try to eat little bits and its helped TONS not to completely cut things out. Like today I really wanted candy corn so I looked up a serving and had half. It was just enough to hit the spot :)
