Bump....I'm there and need assistance!

I also bruised a lot more during my weight loss. I exercised a lot and stuck to 1200-1800 calories at the time. I ate and continue to eat high protein foods and lots of veggies. I take Super B and high potency cranberry supplements every day which I took before starting to diet and continue to take after reaching goal and…

30-some pounds ago, I would've said HELLANO! to wearing yoga pants anywhere but at home. Now I LOVE them and wish I could just wear them everywhere!! :blushing: :ohwell:

Really? Are you 11 years old? Or are you that needy? If you are an adult, put your big girl pants on and move on. :drinker:

LOL! 0.4 pounds should not be worried about. Fart, Poop, Pee, drink more water to flush out toxins, even move your scale to a different spot. You could also try to stay away from refined carbs today and reduce your sodium intake.. then weigh tomorrow and see where you're at.

Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt. 80 calories, 0 fat, 12 grams protein. I eat it at least once a day, sometimes twice. Great pre workout food first thing in the morning (for me anyways)

I am in total agreement with both bolded statements. It's seems ridiculously easy to lose weight once you figure both of these things out. People who don't eat enough and cry and complain because they can't lose weight, break my heart. EAT dammit and get off your *kitten* and move. And if you really want success and be…

I posted this on another topic but pretty much answers your question - plus some  I reached my goal about 8 weeks ago or so and keep losing weight; evidently not eating enough and haven't changed my exercise habits. Calories are set to around 1600 and I exercise about 5 days a week at home (no gym membership). At…

I reached my goal about 8 weeks ago or so and keep losing weight; evidently not eating enough and haven't changed my exercise habits. Calories are set to around 1600 and I exercise about 5 days a week at home (no gym membership). At least 3 of those days I do a short strength training workout with two 5# and one 10#…

I know a lot of people will say you shouldn't drink; but I do. I enjoy it! I have fun and don't hurt anyone so please no negative comments about what a bad person I am because I drink. Having said that: I too, like my weekend booze; and sometimes a middle of the week visit to my favorite watering hole. I quit the craft…

I'm also Mountain Time (Montana!) I'm up at 4:30 but don't exercise till I get my coffee, a bite to eat and do the rest of my morning routine. I'm exercising in my own little mini gym by generally by 5:15 am, Mon-Fri. It has become such a routine; it's like brushing my teeth, I just can't start my day without it! I mix up…

I think you should get a Fitbit for your cat....

I couldn't disagree more! My Fitbit tracks all my walking activities and works without the benefit of my arms moving. And I LOVE the vibrating alarm. I never set my regular alarm clock anymore. My DH works nights and my alarm used to bug him in the morning. Now it doesn't; he doesn't hear a thing. You can adjust the…

Use of a Heart Rate Monitor increases the accuracy of the calories you burn. Try exercising 30 minutes with a heart rate monitor and see what that shows then log that same exercise into MFP and see what value they give you. You will notice a significant difference; I did anyway; and I was surprised and heart broken because…

Excellent response!

I totally agree with this. And it works. I'm living proof. The biggest thing I did to help me be successful was get a scale and weigh everything I ate. It became like a game to me to see how many grams that nectarine or piece of chicken weighed. Boy my idea of portion size was all screwed up....no wonder I gained weight.…

Agree! Started @ 162 with goal of 132 pounds. Hit that and hit 129 # yesterday . Ultimately 128 is where I should stop...we'll see.

Hi There! I am from beautiful Butte America! Lived here for the past 17 years. I love the people and find the weather challenging. I love being able to spend time outside when the weather cooperates. It's challenging at times. But I'm loving summer right now. Are you going to school in NM?
