  • I am the same as everyone here. In the morning, after I use the bathroom, and in my birthday suit. For weight loss I am more concerned about having an accurate account of what I'm losing more than it being off a pound or two. Weighing at another time of the day will be more dependent on your day, and the variability will…
  • First, I have no idea. But I did have this thought a few times throughout the years. Turns out, I just needed something to blame other than my own habits.
  • I had the same thing. Didn't change for a couple weeks, but it did eventually break and I've been dropping consistently every week since. Although I am eating 1200 cals, but I am a girl, and short. Just keep going. And try not to adjust things too quickly.
  • I don't really enjoy free weights all that much, so I will use the machines. Working on muscles is great for weight loss. I believe you need both cardio and weight training. You don't necessarily need to weight lift though. Try things like crunches, squats, push ups, and other exercises that just use your body weight to…
  • I got the group request and hit accept, but then the site when screwy and I don't think it worked. Can you send it again please?
  • I can't do it. I've tried. I either have to add fresh berries or brown sugar. But I am generally bad with bland food.
  • 28 years old 5'2" SW - 199 lbs CW - 185 lbs GW - 135 lbs Graduate student Plays squash >3 times/week. 1200 calories a day. Lives in Canada
  • I go with how I feel. I know I have to have a granola bar or something before I work out to fight off feeling hungry when I workout. But a bar is ~130 cals while I burn ~700 in my workout. I will only eat more if I still feel hungry, but careful not to eat more than I worked out that day. My point is, if you are hungry on…
  • I don't have a fitbit so I can't really judge, but it seems more gimmicky to me. It probably works, but I want something that tracks my calories during workouts, not necessarily everything throughout the day. I have a polar and like it a lot.
  • Chug a huge thing of water, so much so your tummy feels absolutely stuffed. Works for me. Tea also helps.
  • +1 I don't like drinking room temp water. But I have a set 4 of water bottles (28-32 oz each) in the fridge all the time. Just keep a bottle with you even when you don't think you are thirsty. You may just start drinking a little bit. But that will increase over time. Then you will be able to drink it no problem. Worked…
  • I understand what this person is saying, even if it wasn't said very elegantly. I have tried many occasions to drop foods I like and try to eat food I don't like (e.g., salads, tomatoes, celery, etc.). In the end I just got angry and upset, and gained more weight after going back to my regular diet. Hence it isn't…
  • I also hate exercising. I get really bored. I can't stand more than 10-20 minutes on one cardio machine, get bored with running or walking outside. My brain is just way too active. I also like the feeling sore part, but have a hard time getting myself to do the workouts. So I decided to pick up an sport I used to play…
  • I have just started up using this program and I am looking for the same as you. Need someone to help me out daily, and someone I can return the favor. I think even encouraging another person helps keep you on track. I am the same height as you, about 2 years older, and have more weight to lose. I'll send you a request. I…
