  • This is me as well. Too self-conscious. Love sugar and fat. Tired. Family stress. Work stress. I am very slowly getting it though. I found a challenge group on Facebook that helped me a ton to get started. Everyday for a month, I did the arm exercises suggested by the group. I started feeling better. They only took about 5…
  • You are definately smaller in the belly area and you lost a lot in your back. Your hips also look much smaller. Awesome job! I know how hard the 30 Day Shred can be. I did it a few years ago and lost a lot of weight. I gained it back and I don't think I could do it now. But Congrats!
  • I'm in the same boat. I don't love chicken and I eat too many carbs. I'm also someone that doesn't really like to cook, so I grab whatever is laying around. I do like hard-boiled eggs, but I can't eat egg whites in the morning. I try to eat more nuts like almonds and walnuts. I also really like beans. Sometimes for a quick…
  • I gained about 60 lbs. on Abilify. I'm having a difficult time losing, but I'm sure it can be done. I know that being depressed makes losing weight even harder. Good luck to you.
  • November 12 - 30 minutes on the elliptical following c2 5K Week 1 Day 1 10 minute arm circuit
  • Try Leslie Sansone DVDs. She is great and they are great for beginners. You can find some at Walmart. Or how about wearing a pedometer and setting a goal for yourself everyday? I hope you find something that works for you.
  • I have a Fitbit Ultra and I love it. I don't use the Sleep function, but I like that it tracks stairs climbed and calories burned. I find its a very motivating tool. It syncs well with MFP too. I've had it since February (although I haven't used it all this time) and it has held up for me with no problems. I think its…
  • Novemeber 6 - 30 minutes on my elliptical
  • November 5 - 25 minutes on my elliptical
  • November 4 - 15 minutes on my elliptical
  • November 3 - 20 minutes on my eliptical
  • November 1 - I did 20 minutes on my eliptical November 2 - I did 30 minutes on my eliptical and some lunges
  • I also crave red meat and chocolate at this time. I was once told it is related to being iron deficient. I'm not sure if that's true, but its worth looking into, having bloodwork done and maybe taking a supplement. Anyways, I know how you feel.
  • I recently went in for my yearly physical. I told her I was concerned about my weight and explained my struggles to her. She prescribed Adipex and I am to go back in a month for a weight check. I don't plan on using the Adipex for very long. I just need something to get me started and stop all these cravings. I really…
  • I have a FitBit too and I love it. But I'm so confused! On my work days, I walk anywhere from 12,000 to 18,000 steps. Why should I have to use the sedentary setting?? I don't get it. I do not eat the extra calories it allows.
  • I am proud of myself for getting on the elliptical today. I did not eat well today, so this makes me feel a little better.
  • I am very happy with my FitBit. I love that it syncs so easily with MFP. I paid about $100 and I think that's a little high for a glorified pedometer, but like I said, I'm happy with it. I think the Fitbit website is great too. I love how it tells when I was the most/least active. It gives me badges when I complete a goal.…
  • I agree with the other posts. Its very motivating. I love the sleep tracking function and stair-climbing. I think its worth the money, if you walk a lot.

  • I have a Nordic Track Elliptical.Mine's not quite this same model, but very similar. I paid about $1000 I love it. Its sturdy, quiet and works well. I need to get on it more often, but that's another story. I don't know if Sears told you, but they will not assemble it. My hubby said it was easy to put together though. Have…
