Same here, I'd love more [active] friends. I just came back to MFP after a bit of a hiatus, and now I think the friends I had have become inactive, so any activity would be great! I agree, burning off 2000 calories in a day is very difficult. The most I've managed to burn in a day is 472. I weigh myself every Sunday morning, then again in the middle of the week on Wednesday. I agree, checking in only once a week was too hard for me also, as that was my original plan, but I added in Wednesday so I could see more potential progress :)
