I tried it back in April, when I was still 40 lbs heavier and it didn't work. I blamed the weight and figured if I waited a few months, I'll try it again and it'll work better. Apparently, the weight's not really the problem. I just really suck at it LOL
-
I guess I'll give it another try in a few months. It was just really discouraging to see that I can't even do the basic moves right :(

i use wii step to the beat / walk it out, wii sports and ea sports active 2. i like step to the beat / walk it out best, though. :)

Just finished an EA 2 workout wearing both the EA HRM and the HRM i bought yesterday. Here are the results (I stopped my HRM every time the game was loading so at the end of the workout I had the same time on the game as well as on my HRM stop watch): EA HRM Time: 15 minutes Cals: 111 calories my HRM Time: 15 minutes Cals:…

got my HRM 4 hours ago and I already love it so much! Just got back from a 155 min nordic walking session and I burned 1792 calories! holy moly!
-
I just went out and bought a HRM! It was on sale and it was only 20 Euros but it has a chest strap and seems to be working alright. I'm about to head out for a nordic walking session. Can't wait to see how many calories I've actually burned instead of doing guess-work on MFP LOL.
-
I don't have a HRM yet so I have to trust the one that came with Active 2 but I've heard that it isn't very accurate :-( I'm also having trouble logging in to the EA site - it keeps timing out. That's why I was looking for an alternative where we could set up a challenge.
-
One problem though....I just found out that on that website, you can't do a "how many calories burned" challenge. Only weight loss challenges. So how about we do a 8lbs (or more? or less? challenge for july? I'm still trying to figure out how the site works LOL. Or hey, maybe one of you knows of a site where you can set up…
-
I found a site where we can set up challenges. I will PM you individually with the URL to that site. Please sign up and reply here with your username so I can invite you to the challenge. If anyone else is interested in this challenge, PM me and I'll give you more details!

sounds good :)

The AHA is almost what I'm looking for. I need something that lets me enter the length of my step in cm and then converts my steps to kilometers. I'll use the AHA site until I've found something that converts to kilometers. Thanks again for the link!
-
Thanks! I'll check the sites out! :)

Umm the spider's in a jar :)

I've heard good things about the Omron Walking Style Pro pedometers. It's supposed to be VERY accurate and you can download your exercises to your computer. I'm getting the Walking Style X (a little cheaper than the Walking Style Pro but not sure if it's available in the US) for my birthday next week. Can't wait to try it…

40 lbs??? WOW that's amazing! I just got the game last week. I'm on the 20 days challenge right now. I've never done something like this before so I'm going to start slow and work my way up to the 9 weeks challenge :)
