  • She said 100g in her post... I'm not sure but I suspect that some may be for the raw amount and some for the baked amount. Sweet potato loses some mass in the baking process so that would make the numbers different. I'm not sure what the correct amount is but those variations actually aren't that extreme when compared to…
  • I think it's kind of strange that you feel like you should be STARVING whenever you eat...I hate that feeling and eat every few hours to avoid it. As long as you stay at your maintenance calorie goal I think it's perfectly fine to eat wherever you want. Also...how did you manage to have a sandwich, nuts, 2 peach cups and a…
  • Yeah, unless you're acting super obsessed about diet and exercise, it doesn't sound like he has a valid reason to be concerned. 78 kg at 5'8 isn't too skinny, and you look healthy in your photos. Seems like he either has a preference for bigger women, which shouldn't matter since you're his wife and he should love you no…
  • I think you're answering your own question. You realize you're not eating at a deficit and that's why you're not losing. The only thing you can do would be to eat less, or burn more...although I'm assuming when you burn more you feel like you can eat more. How bad do you want to lose fat? If you can't be bothered to do…
  • Hot damn! Yummy!
  • Wrong. The deficit is built into the 1600. So she just needs to NET that amount (1600 + exercise calories) to lose a lb a week, assuming that her TDEE without exercise is approximately 2100. OP, I think you should eat more on workout days, the only problem is that HRM may not be that accurate. For me a 50 minute walk only…
  • For real? You're asking if 600-700 calories is too harsh? That is less than is required for a small child. You are essentially starving yourself and losing lean body mass if you continue to eat like that.
  • Just remember that you are going to experience this holiday and many others every year for the rest of your life. You can either a) dread it and freak out when you overeat, b) deprive yourself and miss out on a big part of the fun and festivities or c) remember that even if you go over your goal by 2000 cals that day,…
  • DAFUQ?!? I would tell the managers at the gym about those stupid bishes. That's so disrespectful and they should be booted out on their little heineys. You're doing great and getting in shape FOR YOU. Just try to stay focused on your goals and remember that the majority of the people at the gym aren't like that...they…
  • Original post was from last August.

  • Yeah so I'm lighter than you but even still, I think that number is a bit high.
  • Yep, potassium and water! I used to get these lots when I was a competitive synchronized swimmer, I swear it was all the toe pointing, but they are easily fixable with the remedies suggested!
  • I don't think you burned "practically nothing". Heart rate isn't the be all, end all of calorie burning. If it was we could just sit around watching scary movies all day!
  • I burn about that many when I ride at 18-20 mph...so I think it's probably high unless you are pretty heavy which you don't look to be from your pic.
  • So is this about your size or you just don't want to have a big baby? I'm confused...
  • First of all I fixed your offensive language...second of all those are irrelevant points. - Gymnasts are short because only the best of the best make it to the big stage and that includes having the genetic factors necessary to be the best. i.e. short and lean. - Muhammad Ali's brain injury was caused by head trauma from a…
  • Wooohooo! Way to go!
  • I don't know if I ever thought this was true but it is how I picture my parents lives before me!
  • -Weight training 4 days a week -Intense cardio about 3 days a week -Dog walks everyday...about 3-5 miles. - Soccer one or two days a week I'm doing something everyday...I go kind of stir crazy if I don't! Plus, my puppy doesn't give me any option!
  • We're staying on Ocean drive in Miami Beach...Avalon Hotel.

  • Age shouldn't actually have much bearing on what your final weight should be...it just might take a little longer to get there.
  • This ^^^ The hip measurement seems legit but I have a feeling the waist isn't accurate. 144 lbs isnt too bad for 5'5 but 37 inches is a pretty big waist size. Make sure you're measuring at the very smallest part!
  • We're staying downtown I think, lol...ack my husband is more of the details guy, I'm more of the sit on the beach and look pretty one!

  • This is the ONLY post that has ever made me literally laugh out loud because I can SO picture it. Classic! You probably made his day and that is so sweet.
  • You're joking right? You know your BMR is what you need to consume just for basic organ functions, right? You should always be eating AT LEAST your bmr, and definitely more if you're active. Plus, OP is asking about maintenance so I don't understand how this would apply even if it was in the slightest bit correct.
  • OP, you clearly want this drama. You started it by calling people out fr being rude, then said good-bye (like a million times) yet then constantly check back and post again! Don't kid yourself, you like it. If it honestly hurt your feelings you wouldn't be egging people on. Pretty sad, really.
  • This. I mean you literally ended your post by saying "thoughts??" and when you got them you got offended. I get it, you didn't get the answer you wanted but what would you rather...everyone be "nice" and tell you to continue and end up not losing weight or for people to give you the hard truth so you can be successful?
  • How was that in any way rude? You're being rude by just calling people morons who don't know how to accurately eyeball food...which is pretty much everyone. Weight loss is basic math...I'm sorry but you're NOT eating 1000 calories a day if you're not losing. You aren't as good at guessing as you think you are...no shame in…
