I understand how you feel. When I started this, I was so determined to shed the extra weight that anything less than immediate success felt like failure. But, three months in, I'm 25 pounds lighter and I feel like I have finally learned to eat in a realistic, healthy way that I can sustain long-term. Do I wish the extra 50…

You look great--and very happy!

Great job!

When I get to my final goal, I plan to get myself a nice piece of jewelry--maybe a ring or a watch--that I will see every day to remind myself to stay on track. For now, I'm just rewarding myself with new clothes!

Great work!

Everyone has been super supportive and kind. I really appreciate it. I never know when to comment on someone's weight, though. For example, there's a woman in my office who was never heavy but who has clearly lost quite a bit over the last few months. She looks fantastic. I always mean to tell her so, but it never feels…

I started 11-15 and am down 23 pounds by doing low carb--though, lately, more carbs have been creeping in. Time to put a lid on those and get back in the game!

You look amazing! Very inspiring!

WOW! Congratulations!

I'm at 22 lost and I am noticing a difference now, as are other people. At 7 lost, you are doing great! I'll bet you're going to see the difference very soon!

GREAT JOB! You look fantastic!

I agree with others regarding staying away from sugar and processed carbs if you have a problem managing them. Yes, I realize there are many people who will disagree with this approach, but, FOR ME, eliminating these things except for the very occasional treat, has dramatically reduced my cravings. I had the world's…

I just signed up for SunBasket and was surprised that many of their dinners are upwards of 800.

You look great! I admire your honesty about your struggles with both anxiety and weight. There are a lot of us out there who also struggle with both! You look great! Keep on keepin' on!

That was so fun and interesting! Thanks for sharing! I'm ENFP...the "Campaigner." Seems right!

I've lost 20 pounds since mid-November eating LCHF and counting calories. I indulge in pizza and other carbs now and then, as long as the calories fit into my goals. I just like the way that (mainly) eating low carb makes me feel, as I find it reduces cravings. I had a huge sweet tooth, so I never thought I'd be able to…

I eat around 80-100g a day of carbs and so far it's been working well. I count my calories also, staying around 1400. Like you, I can't imagine NEVER being able to eat a bowl of cereal ever again, but I don't like the way eating carbs (especially refined carbs and sugar) messes with my hunger. I feel better when I can keep…

Agree with other posters that HappyScale is the ticket. It shows you the downward trend and your current average, so it takes some of the stress out of those daily ups and downs. Good luck!

For sure it's showing in your pretty face. Keep it up!!

So much amazing inspiration here!!

GREAT WORK! You look gorgeous!

This is the diet I've been on and, so far, one I find not at all "crazy" or "impossible." In a little over two months, I've lost 18 pounds. It's also the diet both my father's and my husband's doctors recommended for them. As others have said, I think the low carb daily forum is probably the best place to find others who…

I eat "lower" carb also--less than 100 g per day. I find that the more I eat, the more I crave, so I am going to focus this week on cutting back again to more like 50-75g. I could never give up fruit completely and my weak spot is a latte with real milk in the morning. But, as other posters have said, I am trying to focus…

But, you guys, if you just buy this $68 cellulite detox oil advertised next to the article, it'll definitely do the trick! https://shop.goop.com/shop/products/detox-cellulite-body-oil

You look absolutely fantastic! Nice work!

It really, really shows! Nice work!!

I agree with @CafeRacer808--protein, fiber, and fat keep me full longer. If I start my day with eggs, cheese, or nuts I stay full longer. Then it's easier to keep it up through the day. Good luck!

Thanks so much for this. I need it today, when I'm 16 pounds down and looking down the barrel of 55 more--which feel like they will NEVER come off. Your story of just continuing without a hard goal or time limit really resonates with me. THANKS!

Great job! Looking amazing!

@jenilla1 Enjoy it! I'm a SoCal transplant living in New Jersey and cursing the weather. I hate winter!!
