I eat them regularly and I do not think they are gross. When you open them, they are in water and they do have a fish-smell but I always put mine in a strainer and run water over them. The noodles are like tofu in that they will take the flavor of whatever you cook with it. I like to boil the noodles, brown chicken and…

I worked as a dental assistant for several years with an OMFS (Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon) and we did a lot of extractions. First, a couple people mentioned using a straw, many dentists will advise against this as it is possible to remove the blood clot. Without a blood clot to initiate healing the bone is exposed and…

I get bruises on the side of my shins... For the longest time I thought I had a severe form of shin-splints. But I saw the doctor and we think blood is actually collecting in the space around my bones/muscles giving the appearance of bruises. (Basically a mild form of compartments syndrome brought on by a prior injury and…

A larger track can have some advantages but it makes it hard to gauge your laps. I ALWAYS have someone run with me... I run all the time but with the stress of the test I am always so worried that I will feel overwhelmed and crap-out (it is just a huge mental game) so having someone to run with me keeps me motivated! When…

Do not do anything too crazy (with your diet) that your run time, pushup or sit-ups suffer. While at the gym, consider wearing a waist band (this will only reduce water weight-not actual weight but may help on the waist measurement during the test.

Sometimes I do not log it simply because I know I stay well hydrated; since it has never been an issue, I just focus on what my issues are... food. :)

...so my thoughts are what works for one person will not work for the other so each person needs to do what works for them. If you are not a fan of a keto-diet that is cool, then don't do it. For me, I have done the research, I am working with my doctor, I am doing body-comp analysis so I know it is real weight, I feel…

I am like princessputz, counting calories has never worked for me. I had 1200-1600 calories every day for two months with exercise and lost only 5 lbs. It was beyond discouraging. If people are insulin resistant simply counting calories wont always work. I know I needed to seriously avoid sugars (even from fruit) and watch…

Not even the fitness experts IN the video can keep up and Shaun T is not doing every rep either! Go at your own pace but still challenge yourself! Many of the moves can even be modified to a lower impact move if you wanted to keep the cardio rate up and simply keep moving! You will see results, just keep pushing play and…

@Tracilea - my understanding is that this challenge is informal and specific to each of us. I am going to run or walk for at LEAST one mile a day and I am going to post each day once it is done! What I like about challenges is the accountability... so if I do not post then someone can call me out and motivate me! :) I am…

I have done 3 rounds of Insanity and during phase one I always gain 4-7 lbs but loose that plus 10 more in phase two. I usually disregard my weight and measurements though and instead take weekly pics when I do Insanity that way I know It is working regardless of the numbers!

Based on this weight, everything changes including how the mother will metabolize medications, position, etc. I applaud this doctor for thinking about the welfare of the infant and sending the mother to a facility that will be better equipped to handle a patient with definite and obvious risk factors. Everybody suing over…
