I know that some people require a little more structure than just being told to stay below a certain number of calories. (I'm one of them). If this is the case for you, then it seems pretty sound to build your calories up out of that structure. Just remember calories are the more important thing. if you need to use those…

you're more than the number on the scale! take a break from the scale. Try measurements and body fat percentages. You may be at the lowest that you can healthily go. Those things are generally more accurate. So many things can fluctuate your weight like everyone else has said. And I agree -- you're headed for an ED if…

I still think that it had something to do with a Royal cover-up involving multiple people. Either that or the guy who landed in America and used to show off his collection of pickled uteruses at dinner parties.

I would think that the warning probably applies more to the old-fashioned copper IUDs since it involves an electromagnetic signal. Mirena isn't conductive.

amazing! congrats!! you look great!

welcome!! The only tips I can offer: 1. Use the support system. Surround yourself with the support of the other members here. We're in this together. 2. Just start making better choices. We all slip up. The important thing is getting back up and moving forward again. 3. Remember that you're ALWAYS worth it. 4. Don't think…

This one always annoys me. If I try to do a jumping jack, I'm going to bring down my apartment building! I'll just do the arms until I can get below 400...lol

Kids are the worst. I'm literally terrified of them in public because of the things they will say. I know the parents can't help it and I usually don't say anything to the ones that just look really embarassed or I let them know it's okay. But when the parents laugh.... Over Christmas, some little boy, probably 8 or 9,…

^^^This one. Is the worst overall because everyone thinks it's okay to say it. I had a lady in a store over Christmas say: "You should smile. It's not that bad! At least you have a pretty face." (said in the tone of the best compliment she had given in awhile) My personal worst were: 1. I was in college and walking every…

If a guy is fit and wants to run without a shirt, perfectly alright by me. Adds to the scenic appeal of the neighborhood. But short shorts.... horrible. Like Richard Simmons short? It just makes me laugh. I remember when I was little my dad had a bunch of cut off jean shorts really short for fishing so it wouldn't give him…

So sorry for your troubles, but I can relate. Go to a ob/gyn and demand that they test you for insulin resistance and/or Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Once it is diagnosed, a nutritionist and the doctor can make better decisions and there are even medications that can help the insulin resistance. Best of wishes to…

I've looked for an independent one, but apparently they don't have any around here. They also tend to be reluctant to work with morbidly obese (especially super-obese) people. I would gratefully pay $100 per hour just to give me the incentive for working out and to show me what to do because honestly.... I am clueless what…
