  • Thanks everyone! I forced myself to go on a leisurely walk through the snow with my hubby that felt good. On the way home I got a bag of dark chocolate hearts ate a couple and told my husband to put them out of site. I'm still bloated but I feel much better. It was so cold but invigorating.
  • I love Zumba. I prefer doing classes over doing it at home. I bought a DVD set and I don't care for it. Maybe it's me but I feel like I get a better workout in a class.
  • Well tonight I did both levels of Yoga meltdown. In my living room with better padded carpet. Much much better. Time will tell though.

  • I lost 47 pounds and I consider myself in better shape than I was but I don't really consider myself fit. I typically do a spinning interval workout for 60-90 minutes 6 days a week. Sometimes it spinning/step spinning/kick boxing spinning/yoga melt down spinning/ weights or just plain old spinning. For years I've tried…

I quit classes and made an appointment with the trainer and he spent more time BSing with his buddies than me. Plus it was small and crowded all the time. Last…
  • I borrowed the DVD from a friend I watched it but didn't try it and when she said don't do more than three pounds you'll bulk up I laughed out loud because that to me was so hilarious.
  • I borrowed the mat workout DVDs from a friend I watched it but didn't try it and I wasn't too impressed. I remember hearing her saying don't use more than a three pound weight otherwise you'll "bulk up" . I thought that part was hilarious. After reading everyone's opinions I've decided I'm not going to waste my money.…
  • One thing I didn't give much thought until now. I exercise in the basement. It's a cement floor with a thinner carpet but I do use a yoga mat. I wonder if that could be part of the problem. I'm going to do it in the living room and every other day. Thanks for the advice.
