I just exercised at home mostly, doing walks in the woods or exercise dvd's in my living room. I have to admit when I started I was embarrassed even for my husband to see me in my workout clothes but I knew the only way I'd get to where I'd look better for him was to just do it anyway. Now that I've gotten to my goal…

I'm sorry but I would have to break up with this man. Those comments would hurt me to my core and I couldn't be with a man who made me feel like that. You deserve a man who makes you feel beautiful!

That people don't care what you eat when you're overweight and sickly, but start eating healthy, exercising, and losing weight and suddenly everyone is worried about your health. Makes absolutely no sense. I'm in the best shape of my life and I get criticized all the time by people who are in horrible shape themselves. And…

I had a cheat weekend about a month ago where I ate one meal on Saturday and one meal on Sunday where I totally went off the rails. It took me 2 and a half weeks of hard work to undo the damage :( I think if there's something you're really craving, you should make yourself earn it with exercise calories burned. That way…

The less processed foods in your diet, the healthier you will be. Eat your food as close to the way God made it as possible. When food is cut up, nutrients at the surface deteriorate. The more it's processed, the more nutrients you lose, making foods that have been pulverized (like flour and sugar) pretty dead, especially…

Yeah, what she said! Whole foods are always better.

I don't know what you're eating, but I believe that if you eliminate chemicals from your food, and eat whole foods you will feel more satisfied. MSG is just one of many hidden ingredients (they will call it by other names so that you don't know what you're getting) that will make you crave more. Of course processed sugar…

Please add me! I'm 47, log in every day and my diary is open. I too am looking for friends who take this seriously. I think I eat pretty darn healthy. I eat a mostly raw diet.

I only work out at home, never at a gym because I'm intimidated by it. Now I am certain I'll never go. People really ARE watching and judging everyone else.

I own the Ripped in 30 dvd and do it occasionally. I have about 20 workout dvd's that I cycle through. I could never stand to keep doing the same one day after day. I just tried 30 Day Shred and I liked it better than Ripped in 30 so I think I will be buying that to add to my collection. I also love her Yoga Meltdown dvd.…

Congratulations on reaching your goal! and yes, diet Coke is the work of the devil.

I started eating a mostly raw diet 3 years ago and had a lot of trouble with trying to digest all those raw veggies (gas and bloating). Then I discovered kefir and the problem has pretty much gone away. I bought my own kefir grains on Amazon for $13 and have kept it going now on my own with a steady supply of homemade…

Have you thought about shredding your own coconut? If you go to eBay and type in "coconut shredder" you'll see one that attaches to the edge of a table or counter for around $25. I have one and it is the bomb! (Unfortunately I paid $60 for mine, but it was still worth it, because I've been using it regularly for 3 years…

The wonderful hum of my dishwasher doing the work for me.

A big bowl of fresh fruit -- banana, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, honeydew -- topped with a little cottage cheese, walnuts, ceylon cinnamon, and coconut (which I shred myself and freeze). Delicious! and I feel so good afterwards.

I know that was a lot of hard work. Good for you! You look amazing!
