If you have 50 or more pounds to lose, I really don't suggest eating 1200 ish calories to lose weight. Honestly, it's just not necessary. You want to eat as much as you can while losing weight. If you're eating 1200 and you start to plateau and the weight loss stalls, you have nothing left to cut. And, being hungry sucks.…

You look great!

The first few weeks are always pretty easy to lose weight in my opinion. The problem with eating only 1000 calories is that when you stall out in a few more weeks, you have no more room to cut. The goal should always be to lose on as much calories as possible. Will it be slower? Yes. But it's a lot easier to maintain a…

Opening up your diary would be a start. 29 is not old, so that is not the problem. Are you logging/weighing everything you eat? You just started running so you might be retaining water.

I was always taught to eat to be "healthy." We always had fresh fruit and veggies cut up in the fridge for snacks and not a lot of junk food. So I was always able to eat whatever I wanted at home, but it was rarely any type of processed food. I enjoyed going out to eat with friends and such, but because of how we ate at…

Exactly this. You said you aren't losing the weight anyway, so what do you have to lose by counting calories and weighing everything? Give it a month and I guarantee you lose.

Sugar and fat for me

Like everyone else, I also like quest bars. They're really good microwaved too!

You can add me! I don't log my workouts here, but I do crossfit 3-4 days a week and try to post pretty actively. I did P90X and also have 1 olympic lifting training session per week with an actual olympic trainer :)

Did you have a hard workout yesterday? Usually the day after lifting I am like that.

Can you do planks on your elbows rather than your wrists? I'm not familiar with the T25 plan, but that would be a good alternative.

You look great! And happy belated birthday!

Honestly, you just need to find other ways to distract yourself/pass the time. Working out, spending time with friends/family, watching a movie, etc. Also, make sure you're eating foods that keep you full. I pre-plan snacks a lot too, so I know I can have something after dinner and before bed time.

Honestly, I don't worry about it. I eat as much or as little as I feel like and skip the workouts with no guilt. A couple of days of eating poorly while I recover isn't going to make me regain all the weight.

I agree with all this. Your body frame will also help determine what is too low for you. Unfortunately everyone on the internet can only give you their own advice.

I do the same. The first few cycles were hard, they have gotten much better the longer I've been going.

My stomach was also the last place I lost weight as well. I was able to finally get the body I want after about a solid year of lifting heavy weights and bringing my overall body fat percentage down in the 18-20% range. My stomach was definitely the last thing to improve though.

If you open your diary that might help. I've been in maintenance for about 3 years now. Whenever I start to creep back up to the high end of my window I just reign it in. I don't eat out, less processed foods, a little less than normal. I don't think you need to cut down to 1200 on any day to maintain. Maybe scale back to…

I do about 400 for breakfast and lunch. I have 150 calorie snack around mid morning (usually 2 hardboiled eggs) and a protein bar (250 calories) before my workout. I also usually bring a cup of fruit or something incase I get hungry during the day. I typically keep about 600-700 calories for dinner and that works out…

It depends how tired. If i got an hour or two of sleep the night before and am dragging all day, I probably would just go home. If I'm just sleepy at work or feeling run down, I'll go to the gym.

This! I think the most important thing to stress here is that one bad meal (or day) does not undo all your hard work. However, letting one bad day derail your progress for a week or a month or two could undo your work. You ate more than you thought, no big deal. Start over tomorrow and get your walks in. You can do this!

All of this. I eat less during the week so I have calories to splurge with on the weekends. I also like to get an appetizer and split it with the table so I still eat a mozzarella stick or a potato wedge without eating the entire plate before my meal. I always look ahead on their website and have 2 or 3 choices pre-picked…

Buy actual workout pants in black. Target and old navy have pretty affordable ones. I always wear moisture wicking material and that helps more than anything.

If something isn't working this time around, maybe it's time to start using MFP as it's designed. Really, it takes 5 minutes to put all your food in. invest in a scale and start measuring everything. You can keep saying you're really good at eye balling, but clearly it isn't working, so why don't you try something that…

I would recommend looking into the new rules of lifting for women or stronglifts. They're programs already designed by someone else and all you have to do is follow along.

Wow! Congratulations! You look amazing!!
