I'm 70lb down! Took a few years but so worth it :)

I count my overall calories and aim to hit a protein and fibre goal within those calories. I don’t count carbs, fats or sugar ☺️works for me and I still get my chocolate, cakes etc when I fancy a treat!

I’m from Suffolk, anyone feel free to add me, it’s good to have UK buddies😀

First thing you've got to do is accept that you are the weight you are and be proud that you've decided to do something about it :) The first step is the hardest, but you can do it!

Stick to a calorie deficit, move a bit more and drink lots of water!
-
hello!

Well traveled
-
Enjoy it and then forget about it the next day, straight back to the deficit :)
-
I aim to hit an overall calorie target, and within that I have a protein target and a fibre target, what foods I eat to hit those targets doesn't really matter. But I do like veggies so have quite a lot every day :)

You can absolutely lose weight without exercise. As long as you're in a calorie deficit, you will drop weight :)

Nope, new to me!

I use to weigh weekly but I've recently started logging my weight daily as my Fitbit app gives an average weight for the week which I find really useful :)

Overall calories are the most important thing, I've tried differing macro combinations and haven't noticed much of a difference in the rate of my losses! Eat your calories, protein is good for satiety so upping that may help you feel fuller for longer, but overall calories are the main thing you need to be really concerned…

I pretty much always have the same breakfast so tend to pre-log that, if I'm meal prepping I'll pre-log lunches. I also tend to log dinners in advance if I know what I'm having. That way, if someone offers me a treat at work or I'm feeling like a snack at work I know what I can fit in :)

Nice

Well done on getting started, you've done a great job so far :) Feel free to add me!

I've been having hard boiled eggs (3) with salad for the last few days but quite often I'll have chilli, bolognese, chicken breast. I tend to have them with veggies or salad and not carbs because carbs make me sleepy after lunch time!

Don't feel guilty - enjoy your holiday! You're only human and you are allowed to enjoy yourself. Remember that this is a lifestyle change :)
