Brummel and Brown is a Yogurt Butter spread - I don't know what area you are from, but it is sold in the North East in the US in your regular grocery stores like Market Baskets and Price Choppers, as is Butter Extract (typically in your baking aisle where you would find vanilla extract) and almond flour (again, usually in…

OMG- just as delicious reheated!! I love leftovers :)
-
20 servings out of a pan that large is actually a really large serving considering how thick and dense the cake is. But ok...!
-
HAHA you guys crack me up. :) Glad everyone likes the recipe :) There's tons more recipes on the blog (and even *GASP* ones that DON'T have splenda!) that you may like too if you like this one. I think my favorite so far has to be the cinnamon pretzels... sooo good. :)
-
No problem:) glad some people like it:) can't please everyone but if even a few people like it it's worth sharing! Plus- it tastes amazing! I'm sure adding honey/sugar will make it really sweet too, just a bit more caloric. :)

For anyone wondering about Splenda - http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/splenda.asp
-
It does contain 1/2 cup of splenda, but you're more than welcome to substitute that for sugar/truvia/whatever you happen to use instead. There's no need to make negative comments towards those of us who DO like splenda.

Haha yes rate means flip! Lol

I just started week three today and am terrified to start workout four tomorrow LOL. I HURT. hahaha. That woman is CRAZY. But I made it through - that's all that counts right??
-
I've heard that people lose the most weight during phase two of the program. Anyone else have this experience?? Starting week 3 tomorrow. Congrats on the awesome progress to everyone so far! :)
-
HAHAHAHA Oh man, that banana peel made me literally LOL. Must've hurt falling off the stage though.

I'm really hoping the bruises don't develop haha. Its a little red and puffy, but no black and blue yet. Only bruise I see right now is on my finger, which I can only assume got shut in the door somehow on my way down?? I have NO idea haha I was too distracted by the face pain. The humor does not escape me though! haha.…

mmm I love almond flour, I bet that tastes realllllly good. Almond flour is so awesome - I made an apple pie with it once and BOY did it taste FANTASTIC.
-

after googling and trying to find out what a baking grate it (LOL) I found a site saying you can put a cooling rack onto your cookie sheet and use that? Is this what everyone else does? I would never have thought a cooling rack would withstand the heat from the oven well - its so thin!
-
Wow, lots of awesome suggestions to make them crispy - sounds great! What kind of grate do you use??

It is :) I can't wait for lunch today :) It has chili in the broth so it is just the perfect amount of spicy-ness. I normally hate spicy things, but I LOVE this
-
yes, it it REALLY important to freeze it first!!! And leave them in there for a good couple of hours because they need to be frozen solid when you put them in the oven. Also, try to make that flour coating pretty thick and cover the entire stick with it - this will form a breading coat that will trap all the melty cheese…
-
You could also make a batch and freeze them already breaded and just pop a few in the oven here and there when youre ready to eat them. That way you wont have them laying around waiting to be eaten!
-
Well that's the beauty of them being so low calorie! You could have 3 or 4 of these for the same calories that you would find in ONE restaurant style mozzarella stick :)
-
I tend to go simple and just do a Lemon pepper seasoning or an italian seasoning. Tastes awesome without too much effort.
-
I am happy to report that these are really good reheated as well! Stick them back in the oven for a few minutes until they start to get gooey! (I suppose you could try the microwave but I would imagine that would make them soggy as opposed to crispy).
-
I'm only on week two so I haven't seen anything results wise yet except lost weight (I only measure once a month). I'll measure in two weeks and report back. I've been starting to add weights and do the more advanced moves too, though I wouldn't call Jillians dvds easy lol!! They always have me sweating and sore after. But…
-
You totally could!!
-
it probably would be AWESOME in muffins, I dont know WHY I didnt think of that!!! Just make sure to add extra baking powder to help it rise and adjust your baking time accordingly!!! :) Geez I'm gonna have to try that now LOL!
