Have you ever seen one of those videos where someone steps on a garden hoe and it comes up and smacks them in the face? Well that is exactly what happened to me today. I kid you not. And you know what, as much as it hurt - it actually still makes me laugh. HAHA.

    I must say I'm really sorry for what happened to you, especially getting locked in the garage to add insult to injury. But that did put a smile on my face.

    I had to carry my 40lb Border collie during part of my run today because he got a little overheated. The little bugger is just fine but I must have been a sight.

    Hope the bruises heal quickly.

    Never had a garden hoe or rake snap up and hit me...but I did once slip on a banana peel (on stage, no less, but entirely by accident). I was in a play in high school and in the previous scene a character entered after having fallen into the compost bin, so he was covered in kitchen waste, including a banana peel which dropped to the stage. Cue me, running from the wings of stage left to stage right...but I don't see the banana peel that catches under my foot, skid several yards, fall into a chair, which is on wheels, and roll off stage. Biggest laugh I got all night.

    I'm really hoping the bruises don't develop haha. Its a little red and puffy, but no black and blue yet. Only bruise I see right now is on my finger, which I can only assume got shut in the door somehow on my way down?? I have NO idea haha I was too distracted by the face pain. The humor does not escape me though! haha.

    and 40 stitches?? OWWWW. That is definitely not funny!

    HAHAHAHA Oh man, that banana peel made me literally LOL. Must've hurt falling off the stage though.
