Fall Baking - Low cal Apple Tart (Pie)!
Here is a link for a recipe for a low cal, low fat, french apple tart. It is AMAZING and after a little tinkering, tastes JUST like its full fat and higher calorie counterpart. It is unbelievable. This is the perfect fall baking project - it looks way more impressive and difficult than it actually is and is a guaranteed crowd pleaser for those who love french baking. No "controversial" substitutes (aka Splenda, truvia, etc.) in this recipe - all natural and amazing.
I could not be happier with how this one turned out and just could not wait to share it!

Looks amazing... except I need to figure out where to get almond flour and butter extract... and I have no idea what Brummel and Brown butter is.0

Brummel and Brown butter appears to be a butter substitute.0

Brummel and Brown is a Yogurt Butter spread - I don't know what area you are from, but it is sold in the North East in the US in your regular grocery stores like Market Baskets and Price Choppers, as is Butter Extract (typically in your baking aisle where you would find vanilla extract) and almond flour (again, usually in the baking aisle, next to the flours or in an organic section).
I use watkins butter extract: http://www.amazon.com/Imitation-Butter-Extract-2-oz/dp/B004FD9JZA/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1412208469&sr=8-13&keywords=butter+extract
and Bob's redmill almond flour: http://www.amazon.com/Bobs-Red-Mill-Almond-Meal/dp/B000QSL500/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1412208583&sr=8-3&keywords=red+mill+almond+flour
The Brummel and brown can be found with all the regular butters and comes in a tub like this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Brummel-Brown-Spread-Made-with-Yogurt-15-oz/10294501
It is way healthier than regular butter but tastes just like it. Love it0
