  • as soon as the wii fit/balance board is back on the shelves i will definitely hook it up. damn nintendo and their marketing ploys:(
  • awesome, thank you for the post. I'll put it in my queue right now!
  • me too:( You can thank nintendo for this little scheme they pull with all their latest and greatest toys. They purposely stop the flow so the demand will increase, it's psychological marketing, they are known for it. Everyone will still want one bad and they won't have to lower the price. If you use amazon you can have…
  • hello! so I'm not really sure about the food diary thing. I think it's just like facebook, you have to be friends to look at their info. They also have to set their diary to be public. I would say a good rule of thumb to start is no fast food, try to stay away from processed foods, and avoid those white carbs. Start…
  • I started yesterday and everything hurts, I can't even sit on the toilet w/out wincing in pain. This is by no means meant to scare anyone, this is living proof that this is an awesome workout. Muscles I haven't heard from in years are roaring in delight. I thought some yoga last night before bed would help with the…
  • Yea! I hope you can find it cause it's so yummy. I see a lot of people posting they love cinn toast crunch but don't eat it, this one is actually pretty good for you. I think the box says 'for kids' and when you're comparing the labels notice the serving is 1 cup compared to other cereals 3/4 cup. This is how I realized it…
  • I do love me some mexican night ! things to avoid: rice, i know it's good but sooo many calories tortillas, usually made with lard and more calories than bread (i still don't get why people think wraps are better for you) you can't sweat the nights out, unless you can afford to do it all the time. I tend to drink more and…
  • I am totally hooked on cinnamon crunch by cascadian farms organic. I compared the nutrition and i chose it over my usual, special k. I do not like sugary cereals so I was skeptical at first b/c it looks like cinnamon toast crunch, but it is just perfect and so yummy :)
  • your home sounds wonderfully alluring to me, but smelly (bait shop). i don't think you should ever change for anyone other than yourself, but if she's a good motivator don't let go yet. i am completely convinced love happens when you least expect it, or want it, but i did come face to face with my true love on a night when…
  • Your calories burned seem more on the mark than what I've been reading. I really do think it's a good workout. The calculator estimated I burned 226 in the 20mins, I'm 185 and 5'6"
  • I'm in! I started today, it was great! It was way harder than my usual elliptical workout, but hard is good. I did workout with a trainer a few years back, and he swears by this type of interval training. I just kept repeating what Jillian said when it got hard and i wanted to stop, 'When it starts to burn, you can't stop!…
  • first of all, your back is not an excuse, rather it's a victim of weak abs. i'm a c-section of a 5yr old, and i have kicked the weight once, but gained again after i lost my job last year. the first time i lost the weight (and i say 1st cause i will lose it again!) i had a trainer. your back hurts because your abs are…
  • i'm currently sweating away to a mix of : black eyed peas (too many to list..pretty much anything), shakira (hips don't lie), sean paul (temperature), madonna (hung up, issac, jump, & push), moby (bodyrock & southside), nelly furtado (promiscuous, glow, wait for you, maneater, & afraid), gorillaz (dare, crazy, feel good…
  • you can change your food diary to show you a daily sodium intake. this is how i keep track, otherwise i would eat too much. if i know i'm going to be dining out i leave extra sodium for that meal in hopes i'm balancing a little. :)
  • you've only seen the tip of the iceberg..the food industry is full of shocking tidbits that will scare you hungry! have you checked out the movie, Food Inc.? a must see for anyone caring about what you eat. there are tons of other resources out there too, i only wish we could make everyone understand we have a choice. the…
  • i don't think you could know for sure but it definitely wouldn't hurt. it would also help w/recovery if she did end up getting it. my little guy has a bug right now, i hate when he's sick. good luck:)
  • liquor, not beer or wine. mix w/soda water, not soda pop. add a tiny splash of juice over using pop. this is sooo hard for me, i so love a good beer or glass of wine, but alas the calories! beer on average is 100-200 cals each, same w/wine. i must admit i have not eaten calories at lunch so i can drink them at happy hour :)

  • yes, definately. besides the scary mercury issue, too much of any one thing isn't good for you (except chocolate, of course;)
  • For me it was my portions that had to be cut down, especially in the grain area. I found that trying some of these whole grains instead was better than just eating half the pasta, or half the rice I'm used too. The reason is they are a lot more dense and crunchy, takes longer to chew and you feel full faster. It's also fun…
  • I feel ya sister. I always gain weight there first, and it's the absolute last place I lose it. The push up's will definately help, but I know I can never get back to a perfect C. I really think it has alot to do w/aging as well. They start to head south when our skin begins to lose it's elasticity. My advice to you is…
