I'm surprised only a few people here have mentioned this - weight loss is rarely linear or predictable even when you are doing the right things. You'll have to learn how your body handles it. For some people, it's every other week after working hard. For others, it's every third week and suddenly BAM! They get a big drop.…

There are already some helpful pointers here but to reiterate: - accurate measuring and tracking of food is SO crucial. People underestimate what they are eating easily when they are not accurately measuring. - likewise people sometimes overestimate the difficultly of their workouts and sometimes that leads to them…

So sorry to hear about your accident but glad you are recovering!! Just remember - lots of people have succeeded in losing 100, 200+ pounds. And most of them started out thinking the same thing: "How am I going to do this?". And yet - they did it! And so will you! I also have a large amount to lose in the long run - I…

There's a lot of people who were on the show who came forward after being on it talking about the physical ramifications of doing that. It is done for entertainment purposes and should never be used as a guide to losing weight or getting healthier. People talking about not lowering your calories is a bit of a…

I understand how you feel completely. This whole journey to fitness is about making changes and doing things that you can live with for the rest of your life. Which seems heavy in comparison to many others here for that size, but I've always had quite a bit of muscle.

CONGRATS!!! I'm hoping I'll be joining you in the 200 club by the end of this month *crosses fingers and works hard*

Less than 1200 a day is going to cause you health problems and cause you issues in losing weight, maintaining or being healthy. I'm genuinely not trying to be mean, only to answer honestly. It looks like you need help discovering what healthy meals look like and consist of. On top of not eating enough calories, your meals…

You perfectly worded how I have felt. I want to lose the weight, but I'm also strangely afraid of it. Glad to know I'm not the only one with these thoughts!
