This is all awesome advice! Thank you guys. I think I'm going to focus on eating healthy for now, then start exercising once summer hits and I have more free time. Plus my eating habits should be under control by then.

I like the notion of thinking of working out as a job.

I've always felt like that required a lot of dedication and a certain level of fitness. I'd be too afraid that it'd burn me out even faster.

Before I gained twenty pounds back, at about 160 pounds, I bought an entirely new wardrobe. About four pairs of pants, three new blouses, four band shirts, two vests, and a blazer. None of these fit me very well now and I haven't worn any of them at all. So i'm excited to be able to wear those! But the number one thing I'm…

Dude, that's incredible -- congrats!

My go-to is a 1/2 cup low fat ice cream, 1 banana, 3/4 cup almond milk, 1 tablesoon peanut butter, and ice if needed.

I lost my first 30 lbs on a 1200 calorie diet and kept it off for two years just fine. Now I'm on a 1300 calorie diet and trying to lose about another 40. The way I see it, if you aren't kidding yourself about how hungry you are, and if you're eating enough protein/veggies/fruit and aren't eating only one meal consisting…

I'm starting college this upcoming semester and I'm taking extra precautions because I know just how difficult it can get. Here's my plan: 1. Pack lunch! Every night, or every Sunday, pack your meal for the next day/week. Healthy snacks that'll keep you satisfied. 2. Avooooid the late night binges! Have a protein heavy…

I ate one every day for about a week and lost weight just fine. But they still taste awful and would rather make room for real pasta.

Feel free to add me! I'm at 185 and would like to be at 130/140 as well. I plan to exercise rigorously for 5 days and 1 day light walking/running errands. Fridays are rest days for me.

Yes! I think the best advice I've learned in regards to weight loss is focusing on the now. Accomplishing the small goals in the process and simply accepting that results ARE a result and not apart of the process. It's just so hard when you're so far from your goal weight and it seems you'll never achieve it, you know? I…

I used to eat about 800 calories per day because it felt adequate, once I started realizing that I faltered and binged because I didn't eat enough, I started eating consistently at 1300 calories. I gained weight but I was expecting that, so that's not really what hindered my efforts. It was the fact that I STILL binged…

Yes, but I know that logically eating something in the morning will get my metabolism running and I'll be less likely to be starving in the afternoon since I'm usually only able to get my second meal at about 2:30. So to prevent overeating in the afternoon I always have a piece of fruit in the morning, usually an apple or…

Depends, do you buy your alcohol at the bar or have you got a secret distillery in your basement? ;)

Kind of funny that she's got 5 lbs to get to her weight lose and the OP is struggling with losing weight... OP: There really is no need to be rude, you've asked for advice and people are only trying to help/make suggestions. That being said, calculate your TDEE and subtract 20% (or better, just 15%). You're fairly small…

Dump him, keep his number, lose the weight for yourself and at your own pace, then text him an "eff you" with a photo attached

I didn't like Almond Milk when I first started using it, but after awhile I started to really love it and now I can't drink any other milk. Also, you should try the flavored versions.

Get back up.

I feel like you crawled into my brain and wrote my thoughts down. Thanks for this. Just for today: I'll eat well and exercise for thirty minutes.

This is a GREAT idea! 1) Drink 8 glasses of water each day. 2) Exercise 5x a week (weights or cardio). 3) Read a chapter of any of my textbooks for class. 4) Reorganize a section of my apartment. 5) Finish one book per week. 6) Write a blog entry every night. 7) Use skin products daily.
