Erm, yes. I've worked out, cycled and run on my birthday, christmas day and new year's day for years!
-
Yes. Very naughty. As a cyclist I do not approve...

Bollocks to that. Gimme cake...

1st post and mentioning a pyramid scheme. Touting for business?

My sister nearly lost her entire family by getting suckered in to Forever, until she got wise and saw it for what it really was.

It's a Ponzi scheme. Ponzi schemes are illegal. They get round this by having a "product" to sell and calling it "MLM". It doesn't stop it from being what it is...
-
No-one with any sense, certainly. Lean meat, fresh fruit and vegetables and exercise is basically all you need...

David, we're doing the full Mam Tor ridge from Edale on Saturday morning!
-
Do it, you'll love it!

Every day. Winter it's generally running, summer there's cycling chucked in as well. Lots of cycling. And lots of resistance and core work with all of it. We've just got back into hill walking (off to the Lakes in a few weeks) and it's strange how much easier it is now we're both a lot fitter than when we used to do it…
-
Can I chuck hill repeats into the mix here too?

Four lbs? Why worry about it? My weight can fluctuate by more than that over the course of a weekend, dependent on what I'm doing. I can lose that just on a Sunday if I've done a long training run, run a half marathon or done a century ride. And you look like you're far, far, far from overweight...

Again with the cute!

If it's any consolation, I still do an occasional workout with an empty Olympic bar. There's no shame in it! Sets of 50+ curls, tricep extensions or front raises with an empty bar really make your biceps/triceps/shoulders scream. Especially if you do them in giant sets, but I wouldn't recommend you try them just yet!

Is there a Parkrun near you? That would be a good place to start. But, as everyone else said, the only real way to get run-fit is to run. http://www.parkrun.us/events/

Workout. Workout. Workout. Lift. Lift. Lift. Eat. Eat. Eat. Lift. Lift. Lift. Run. Run. Run. Eat. Eat. Eat. Lift. Lift. Lift. Gain. Gain. Gain. Eat. Eat. Eat. Mix and match the above into some semblance of order, make sure you're eating appropriate, lifting heavy and doing plenty of cardio. Recent studies suggest that you…

Thanks. -35C? Where the hell was that?

The only time I usually get to that point is following either 2 or 3 hours running or 6+ hours out cycling. I'm generally ravenous, but have burned sufficient calories to eat what I like by that time! On days I'm excessively hungry, I try and eat protein in the form of lean meat and vegetables for carbs instead of cakes or…

I love running. Doesn't matter what the weather is. If it's hot and sunny, brilliant. If it's freezing cold, windy, raining or in snow, that's brilliant too. Just adjust your clothing accordingly. I have specific dress codes that I have to stick to dependent on temperature, otherwise I end up melting, but it has to be…

As Ransaka says, if MFP is telling you you're not eating enough, you're not eating enough. Read the threads, all will become clear.

To go home.

Yes. Welcome to Body Dysmorphics Anonymous. I try not to worry about it, whilever I'm still in tight fitting medium t-shirts and feel comfy in them, I'm happy enough. All I concentrate on now is being as fit as possible.

Turned out to be a fast 5 miles. Same route as yesterday but a minute and a half quicker.

Stop your cheap comments, 'cos we know what we feel... (Just been out for a run and the Sex Pistols popped up on my random playlist...)
-
Why can't the whole world just be nice to each other?
-
Nothing yet. Will either be a steady 5 miles or a fast 5k at lunchtime, dependent on time.
-
Yes. Maybe.
