There are a lot of "nutritionists" here with self righteous attitudes. One person's way of eating is not necessarily right or wrong because it's not what you prescribe to. So, how about having some manners and either answering the question or leaving your opinions to yourself rather than high jacking this woman's thread...…

For me, going on a 2 week strict low carb diet (Atkins Induction style) kicks the cravings, 100%. It's a miserable first week, second you start to feel amazing. Good luck, you've got this. Don't listen to people picking apart whether it's an addiction or not- that's not the point- the point is to find what works for you.

That first one you get is something you'll never forget! I practiced for months using resistance bands to help me up. And then I would always try to do one without. One day, after class, I was just messing around and hopped up on the bar and did it! Good luck! Can't wait to hear when you finally reach that goal!

Thank you! Some people are so judgmental. I happen to LOVE lifting, love HIIT training, love sprints but absolutely hate running. And you know what else I hate; cycling for the same reason.

Wrong. It is boring... doing the same thing for 30 minutes is not for me. I prefer HIIT training- short bursts and changing it up. That's why I love crossfit... so, whatever to me it IS BORING. Get off your high horse and stop being judgmental

You could have lactic acid buildup in your muscles as well as inflammation, causing you to retain water. Building muscle is essentially injuring them. I always put on weight when lifting and it sucks. But give it two weeks and your body will start to level out.
