I just started and I am eating about 2300 cals a day. I lift heavy 2 days a week and lighter 3 days. I do 30 minutes of cardio 4 days a week and usually not on my heavy days. You can't leave the chest strap and the transmitter connected! It drains the battery! And just make sure you wet the strap thoroughly each time. I always left mine connected and killed the battery, but Polar sent me a new one! And you can always reset the transmitter by taking the battery out & letting it sit for at least…

Congratulations! It is a great feeling! But yeah, it is crazy. I previously lost 45 pounds and only dropped one, maybe two, jean sizes and only one shirt size.

Oh something I have learned that made a world of difference to me … If I don't use the whole avocado I keep the seed and nestle it back in place & put the avocado in a ziplock bag & refrigerate it. Gives me like 36 hours to use it.

Avocado is good with practically everything. I will cut in half & put an egg in where the seed was & bake it. I spread it on toast and eat it with an egg. I dice it & eat it with cottage cheese. I eat it alone w/ a little pepper. I put slices on my burgers, chicken, etc. One of my favorites though is to make chicken salad…

I am not saying it isn't worth the calories, but I just found out that one of my favorite beers, Golden Monkey by Victory Brewing Co., is 270 calories per 12 oz. :sad: :brokenheart: :cry:

I am doing this as well. I don't think it is too much. My only suggestion is to not limit your rest day to Sunday. Listen to your body. But you will most likely be really sore from JM for a few days! It really gets better, stick with it!

Feel free to add me! I am doing the 30 Day Shred now. As for logging it, until you can get a HRM, it was recommended to me to log it as Circuit Training for 20 minutes! Just remember MyFitnessPal tends to overestimate calories burned.
