Yesterday I increased the net calories to 1860, and the CH to a deficit of only 79. We had a much better night, he woke up only twice. And I was not hungry :smile:

My daughter (she is 4.5 years now) from the first day had an awful sleeping pattern until she was 8 months: she woke up EACH night 6-8 times. I cannot. I have a 4.5 years old, who does not sleep during the day, and I have no help, husband is working. :( My only sleep would be the night, and now it is disturbed.

I will do the same, thank you. You know, I got that extra-weight on me while those sleep-issues with my daughter. I mean I ate because I could not sleep enough. And never could get rid of them, until my second pregnancy. Now I weigh 6 kilos less than before getting pregnant with baby nr. 2, but I still have a 18-20 kg plus.

Thank you! Yes, I add breastfeeding to food, as -350 kcal, so at the end of a day I am at about 1200 kcal, with about 1500 consumed. Sleep-deprivation kills me, I had the same issue with my daughter, 4 years ago, with no dieting, and i am panicked to repeat that...

I found a quote on Instagram, something like: it became much easier, when I said I do not want to eat it, not I am not allowed to eat it. When I have cravings I say it to myself. It helps :)

yesterday I took my old clothes and put them in decreasing order. So every time I fit in one of them, I still have another mini-goal: to fit in the next one :D

I am almost 40, and trying to lose some 18 kilos or so. I also have a sedentary lifestyle for now, until September. I started this adventure 5 days ago, only by limiting my portions, especially carbs. I already lost 2 kilos.

Pregnancy gave me diastasis recti and some damages of the symphysis pubis. These are my first few days when I can move without pain.

Seeing some photos of myself. And then one day the scale was in my way and stepped on. 89 kilos... That was 28 days ago. That was the day I joined MFP. I lost 6 kilos since then.

I tried it last year. I lost kilos, but my body got exhausted in short term. Never ever will try diets without exercise.

I do not consider this a good idea. The less you eat below the calorie allowance, the harder weight will decrease. Our body does not function as we want to, but as it is programed. And on starvation times its default setting is to keep weight. So: EAT! :)

Fill the food and exercise diary here, on MFP. You will see where is your problem. Try to exercise daily, if not else just walk. (Try Leslie Sansone's walking exercises) Look at what your MFP-friends have achieved. And look at the success stories daily. Read them for motivation. Or just look at the photos.
