  • give it a go... yeah the calories burned is more conservative, prefer to err on the side of caution myself though I do still eat the calories burnt off and if I go over occassionally I don't stress too much as I tend to stick to the 1200 + calories burnt theory for what I can have that day so am always on the lower rung OF…

  • Yeah it would be useful if after entering what you had and hitting 'remember meal' if after remembing and saving you could then get another option of 1, 2, 0.5, 0.25, etc. if you are making a batch of something or only having a half of the meal cooked, etc. Mags Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

  • You could try and reduce your fat content if its high. Only within whatever limits are set for your weight/height etc. though or its a short term measure. The body is notoriously stubborn and screams to keep the weight on when you start dieting. Keep at it and re-evaluate after 3/4 weeks if the problem persists. Doing some…

  • You think that's bad. I was climbing Mount Sinai in Egypt over ten years ago, in my 20's, and this old lady passed me out on the trail. I was blue in the face and I swear she was 90 if she was a day bounding up those rocks as I tried to catch my breath.... Mags

  • Yeah late night is my weak area too. I know I have to keep calories for at least a couple of low calorie snacks/ one light meal after having a relatively healthy day and knowing I can survive without, know I could want something anyway. I exercise 3/4 times a week and allow the extra calories a buffer zone for myself so…

The calorie allowance of 1200 per day is to ensure a constant steady weight loss, if you go over slightly its not the end of the world, but your weight loss will be slower…
