Again, I suggest a focus on maintaining your weight and possibly talking to a therapist. Alas one doesn’t get a toned body in a few weeks or by doing the cardio type exercises you refer to. . They’re good for you but won’t give you much muscle development which is what you need to tone/ tighten. If you want to tone up you…

I bolded it when I quoted you. And you didn't answer my question. Do you have, or had in the past, an ED?[/quote] Sorry. Yes i was "B" when i was 14 if you can call it that. It didn't even last a month because i couldn't handle doing it. And my dr caught on right away. i didn't lose any weight at all. At times i still feel…

Ive done a couple of virtual races with Yesfit and virtualrunningclub. Got some really cool medals in the past from them including a headless horseman Halloween medal, a back to the future anniversary flux capacitor medal and i have the Cinderella medal. They offer some cool series as well to keep you motivated for more.…

Hmm. im not sure why some comments are in bold. i didnt type them that way. i thought it was people commenting on those parts of my posts.

Thank you for this. I live out off my measuring cups and food scale so i can log everything. My cheat meal on sunday is hard to log especially when its something home made. But i log it. Thats usually the only time im at high calories. And I never eat back my exercise calories. I worked so hard to burn them. im trying to…

I think you've got two separate things to consider: First is the stalled weight loss. How long has it been since you've lost weight? The second thing to consider is whether or not it's good for you to work out this much and eat so little. 700 calories a day isn't safe. If continued long enough, it will result in harm.…

Thank you for this. Ive heard so much about "Starvation mode" and unless i become like tom hanks in castaway- i can't see that happening. During Lent I was clean eating with just veges and legumes. I was only getting in about 700 calories a day. everyone told me thats not healthy and told me more about starvation mode and…

hi ive done insanity in the past and im doing it again. i didnt see much results in month 1 as i did on month 2. im halfway through month 2 now and i feel like i may be at a plateau. i have a feeling im not eating enough either. im 5'3 at 122 and i eat about 1100 calories. im just not hungry for more- and like you im…

Hello, Im just starting Insanity again. I didn't see much results in the 1st month. The 2nd month is where i saw it more. But from what you posted so far it sounds good to me. Im dying to get 2 inches off my hips! Hopefully this time around will help. Good luck :-)

i really enjoy them as a stir fry too. they do smell weird when you first take them out of the package. you definitly need to rinse them off first. i cook them in the pan with shrimp or chicken ans some stirfry vegetables.Add a little oil and some terriaki sauce and it's a fantastic dinner. The store by me had them as…

Wow! I'm blown away by these numbers!! My max is 1200- lately I haven't even been eating 1000! I'm just not that hungry and I don't eat back my calories from my workout. I'm 5'3 and 125.

i listen to a lot of 80s rock when i run- poison, journey, van halen. i also get a lot of motivation from movie songs- the rocky songs gonna fly now, eye of the tiger, hearts on fire, no easy way out. from karate kid- you're the best around, from the legend of billie jean- invincible, and st elmos fire theme. just to name a…

Last year I gave up pasta, bread, potatoes and other white stuff as well as cookies, cake, desserts, etc. The year before that I gave up meat. Both times I was able to try new things. The year I gave up meat,I tried a lot of fish that i had never had before. Both times I lost about 10 pounds. I like to test myself just to…

Hi, I've been training for a 10K and I do Insanity too. I run 7 miles (which takes me about an hour) and then I rest for 30-45 minutes before I do an hour of Insanity. I do this 2x a week. My other days I switch back and forth and either do Insanity or weights at the gym. I don't know if I would have the energy to run more…

thank you. I want to use it for jogging and for work. i'm always on my feet at work so i'd like to know how much exercise I get in a day. I like the option one the fitbit one to track my sleep too.

it sounds silly, but i just started eating the daisy cottage cheese and it comes in the form of litle pearls. what i like to do is scoop some into a strainer and rinse of the liquid. the little pearls taste like little pieces of mozzerella and i put it on my salad. it made it easier to eat and enjoy.

I jog for an hour in the morning and then I do an hour insanity work out. those 2 hours work out to be roughly 1000 calories. I did this today and it was over 900 calories. I've also reached it with other hour long work out dvds. hope this helps.

thank you all. I looked up some video on youtube and saw some variations. I don't have access to a real gym, but I did see one gal do the dead lifts with regular hand weights. can't wait to try them tomorrow.

It's ironic that you posted this because its happened to me today. I was working and my first break came late. I went just over 3 hours without eating something. I was feeling dizzy and getting a headache. I knew that if I didn't eat something soon I was gonna pass out. This has happened before. Once I ate I felt better…

LOL- I thought I was the only 1. I sure did just gain 6 pounds in the last 4 days. I wasn't crazy binge eating- did over-eat once (I too had family visiting from out of town). when I logged my food I couldn't believe how high my sodium levels were. i'm hopping that it's all just water weight from all the salty foods. I…

yes I do this too. I also don't like to eat back my calories burned despite what others say. I only do this because a lot of things are guestimated here. I don't have a heart monitor so when I plug in my workouts it tells me roughly what I've burned. the same goes for some foods- particularly anything that's homemade. I'm…

I understand bone is bone. When women get measurements done their "hips" are actually the top part of the thighs. there's no bone there just flab and muscle that won't tone.
-
Hi, I'm skinny fat too. i'm 5'3 down to 118lbs, but my measurements are 31, 25, 38. my body fat is 25-30% I'm so pear shaped and can't get my lower half to tighten or tone. I've been running 2-3 days a week. I've done 2 full rounds of insanity and now i'm working on the 30 day shred. I finally hit my goal weight after…

Hi All! Just wanted to see how many of us stayed with the program and where is everyone with their goals?
-
Hi, I jog 5 miles 2-3 days a week. I did it today and then rested 45 minutes before going on with Day 20 of the 30 days shred. I was doing the run in conjunction with Insanity, but I took a small break from that. I ran my first 5K a few months ago and I enjoyed it so I continue to do it to keep my pace. But yes it's very…

Hi, I'm in the same boat!!! I'm 5'4 at 118lbs. (my goal was just 120lbs) I'm happy with my weight, but i'm still flabby! I've heard of this thing called "skinny-fat". I've finally got into my "goal" jeans, but I just want to get rid of the flabby areas in my lower stomach and thighs. I'm told that will be the last to go.…

I keep it simple with just romaine and cucumber. sometimes I bring celery/carrot sticks with some hummus if I don't cut them up and add to the salad. Another huge help is SALSA! I add it on top in place of dressing and it also serves as your tomato, onion, & pepper. Hope this helps.
