  • Hi there! My fitness goals is losing 20lbs (est. goal weight 135-140lbs at 5'7) and getting fit for a half marathon, add me if you're interested in holding each other accountable. :) <3
  • Isn't it crazy how at first you're thinking "I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT" and you feel so unathletic and then boom you're running a 5k. It's the best feeling.
  • DONT U WANT THAT FEEL TO STAY 4 EVA
  • Beginning this journey you always want the fastest results which is natural, and you probably won't believe anyone telling you that you can eat 1800 calories and still lose all the weight. Because once you're on that 1200 calorie diet for a while, 1800 calories seems like a HUGE number to you. I've been there a lot, its…
  • #4 definitely!!
  • lemonshake the one with the puppie! Aw!
  • Hey, if you're looking for a low calorie high protein snack or dinner try cottage cheese salads!! Or cottage cheese in general. Always satisfies my cravings. :) Other than that - try stuff out and see what works best for you. xo Good luck and have fun on your journey!

  • It really depends on your body, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. :) As said before, it will boost your confidence and energy anyways!! :)

  • I'm 18, 5'7 and at about 155 right now, about 15lbs or so to lose. :)
  • This is probably already a huge change compared to what you have done before - so OF COURSE you're on the right way. Don't overthink and overdo it tho - if you feel like working out 3 times a week on some weeks gives you more power for your workout thats fine too! Workout when your body is ready for it. I think your…
  • You look fantastic! :)
  • Woah congrats girl! Thanks for sharing, and you're looking damn good. :o :) (*)
  • I don't eat bread anymore since it's a highly difficult food for me. :s I find that it doesn't fill me up and makes me crave.. bad stuff lol. Lots of calories without filling me up at all and making me crave stuff - no thankyou (I love bread though.. I'll have some on my cheat meals huehuehue). :s :# (*)
  • Maybe, if that helps - try to put what you're doing right now into perspective to what you have been doing before you ever considered getting healthier. The change is huge, isn't it? Actually, even if you chose to, for now, just exercise regularily and let's say cut out certain things like soda and carbs for dinner - you'd…
  • Remember that the small steps make the difference. Right now you are doing a huge change rather than taking small steps - I know how you feel, I could actually also survive on 800-1000 calories a day and not feel hungry. I know, there's people who think that this is a myth but it does exist. However, I've tried it too many…
  • Woah congrats man, you look incredible! Thankyou for sharing this! :o :# :) (*)
  • You look awesome already, congrats, definitely a huge success story hun. :o :# :) (*)
  • Yes, but not because I am thinner but because I am more outgoing and confident in my own skin. I remember a time when I was quite heavy but still really confident - I got the same amount of attention. Believe it or not, but looks ACTUALLY don't matter that much. It's mostly about confidence.
  • There is no one point where you hit starvation mode or anything. It's just natural that your metabolism adjusts to how much you eat, so when you used to eat 3000 calories and now you eat 1000 it obviously slows down. But it also slows down when you eat 1200 or 1500 calories, just not at much.
  • I won't go and rebuy my whole wardrobe, but I will adjust to smaller clothing sizes by now. I am 7kg down (from 72 to 65) and I start noticing that my clothes are reeeeally too big by now, which feels really nice. :) Best luck to you!
  • I'm on my last 10 lbs, and honestly, by now I don't need any tips to stay motivated anymore. The healthy lifestyle has just become a habit and I feel like this is how it is supposed to be. :)
  • I know some people that log like 250 minutes of walking at 3mph as exercise every day because they walk in college from one class to another, and then they wonder why they aren't losing any weight because they "never go over their calorie goal".
  • It depends. Does walking make you get out of breath? If I generally have a lazy day and then go for a 4 mile lazy walk I definitely won't log it as exercise. But if I go get my running shoes on and push myself to walk fast and get a little out of breath - I log it as exercise.
  • I have the same problem, honestly, try to not worry about it so much. If you're getting lean everywhere else - celebrate it! Rock those shorts, show off your nice legs and be proud of what you have. Some body types may never have a really flat tummy if they want to stay in a healthy weight range. I am at a BMI of 22 and I…
  • Do something EVERY DAY. If you don't feel like working out - go for a long walk. After 3 weeks it will become kind of like a habit and you will feel the urge to exercise or your day won't be completed. You won't need motivation anymore, you will just do it, trust me. But the first 3-4 weeks are the hardest. :)
  • Even though I regularily go running, when I'm not feelin it I also just go for a walk. There's nothing wrong with that and I still feel super accomplished afterwards, I don't see why you shouldn't. You are moving your body, and especially when your body isn't used to it you will HATE exercise. I am not even overweight…
