Listening to it all. You make so much sense. Thank you. It’s a very frustrating time in my life.

Yeah, I think my maintenance may not be my “today” maintenance, though I have crunched my figures through a calorie calculator.
-
Yep, weighing and measuring and tracking. There is room for improvement though. I think what I’m really struggling with is how much harder it is now than a few years ago. Thanks for all input.

Trapeze for me ✊🏼

70kg deadlift tonite. I started my heavy programme 6 weeks ago. I also benched 40kg yesterday.

I'm 5'8" and 135. I'd actually like to go a bit lower. I'm 50 Tues and I feel menopausal issues are kicking in.
-
Can I ask, how are you all doing with controlling weight gain in the tummy area?
-
It's the pits. I am suffering so much.

I am 50 in 12 weeks. I've reset my goals, I've 14lbs to lose. Have hit a blip, from being in maintenance for 18 months have in last 3 weeks piled on 7lbs.... so am back to tight logging, tight measuring. I want to know if menopause is playing a part. It hadn't been past 3 years but I'm not convinced anymore. We shall see…

Push ups, pull ups and handstands.

I'd still contact Fitbit. I'm in Europe and while their product might be a bit iffy, their customer service was fantastic.

Hmmm. I'm on my second Fitbit within a year. The strap sepArated from the unit. Completely ripped away. It was replaced no problem but wonder how long it'll last before it breaks again. I love the functions on the Fitbit but when this one dies, I'm going for new Polar running watch.

Home workout devotee here too. I have just finished an hour of body weight work with a few weights thrown in.
-
Mine hasn't synced for weeks.
-
Mine has refused to sync for a month now, despite multiple restarts and resets.
-
Thank you. Shoulder mount and all its variations was my absolute fav trick. I doubt I'd even get my feet of the floor now. And yes, four months is a very long time.

I am walking about 11km weekdays and a bit less, maybe 7-8km, at weekends. I have chronic lung probs so they've only ok'd walking for now. I am watching calories but am missing the burn and pump and natural high from exercise. I'll look into some stretch work. Thanks all.

Seeing as we are sharing pix, here's a collage.

Pole, trapeze and gymnastic rings.

53. I'm 48 years old so I think that is good going.
-
I'm looking for a small group. I found the two mentioned, way too big for me. It was hard to keep up. I'm into fitness and nutrition.
-
Yes, of course. Add away.

2 years. 44lbs lost. 5'8". 48 years old. Waist was my most impressive loss in stats, 38-40" down to 28".

I am into aerial sport. Two of my moves are human flag and an iron X on a pole. One of my foundation training regimes is body weight conditioning. Four times a week. In fact I've dropped back on my heavy weight training for a while and am ramping up my body weight work. I swear that body weight training has helped give me…

I am Irish, add me if you want. I'm not very active at moment though I log daily and my diary is open.
-
Hope my contribution helps. I am 48 and have lost 43lbs.

I hope seeing my transformation side by side like that is a motivator. I know it would have helped me so much in my early days to see before and after (I didn't know about the community until 12 months ago) to see what can be done, what can be achieved. @Brendahughes i think my pole training, body conditioning and weights…

Ah Ruth, no offence taken. You know me by now

Very interesting question and I'll do my best to answer. At the start my end game was to lose scale weight, 2 stone in fact, to get me to 10.5 stone. That would've been like winning the lottery. When I hit 10 stone, with that extra bonus of 7 more pounds off I really did think I'd stop. I could've stopped and been happy.…

Thank you everyone above ⬆️ for your lovely words. I wish you all buckets of motivation and success on your journeys. It does take time and there are days when you'll feel like chucking it all in but just remember where you started and where you are going. That helped me stay focused when I started to flag or stumble. I…
