Thank you So SO SO much. I actually went ahead and tracked every little thing that i ate (including a little m and m here and well you get the idea) even though I'm still under anything healthy i guess that im not as bad as i had initially thought. In the week I tracked i realized that at 500 calories (the ones i thought i…

Thank you! i will check out your page and i will add you for sure!! i will read EM2WL....thought it was here on FP.... :-)

ahhh someone speaks my language. Yes, it makes sense. I mean i never thought about the "binge" days, and although my "binges" aren't the normal person's "binges", but they are higher in caloric value than what my body is used to in one day. So, yes i guess i have relaxed my "diet" in the past year and a half. I've allowed…

Thanks for all that. I actually spent a couple hours talking to the nutrition coach (i might hire), and he actually didn't mention anything on the RMR but had me check my BF professionally, just like you said: to base figures on. so the way i read you is that maybe the RMR isn't really that necessary to move on? so…

i'm loving the support here...LOL i guess we are on our own. Just added you. :-)

I wish this was the case, evidence seems to suggest i am currently gaining weight on about 800 calories...if not less. and yes, i know i am in a healthy BMI. I don't want to lose any weight. I want to be back to 20% body fat at least. I am currently maintaining "weight" (if that means anything")

yeah, i guess this is too scientific to do on my own. will see a nutrition/trainer coach.... he can tell me how to go about it i guess. Thanks for the reply

is this an online service? would you recommend it? im in the process of finding experts near my location but i don't know how difficult this really is. I have some friends tell me "oh you can do that on your own" but they're guys and they don't really care about the negative part of it (gain weight/fat). so im wondering if…

I'm worried about the rate of the "gain" for myself...read my responses above :-) thanks for your input
-
I'd open it up but i don't fully track on here..i keep my own excel spreadsheets! :-) ill watch that vid... thanks!
-
ill watch this tonight! thanks....I guess i can start lifting...haven't tried that to be honest. :-)

Totally agree with what you've said...makes total sense. Here's my question, I know for a fact that I gain weight with more than 1000 calores or even at 1000 cals. So here's my fear (in all honesty) if and when i do start eating 1200 a day, I KNOW i will gain weight and my fear is not knowing when the weight gain is going…

totally agree, I guess i'm trying to try something before I go to the doctor? Also, my doctor said to me " welcome to old age" (im 36) and said suck it up and get fat (not in those words but he might as well have said that). I am changing doctors by the way, ....

Thanks for your input. What i meant is that from dieting so much and cutting calories for more than two years consciously or unconsciously, I've read that maybe i've caused metabolic damage (?!). So I guess for me, it's not a matter of how much I eat or how little i eat, my body is retaining to fat cells like crazy, hence…

yes.. I'm learning. I guess I'm gonna take the pills at the same time I work out ... eating at maintenance is not working out for me right now btw
-
totally up for toning. but I seem to be gaining fat ! not really concerned about the weight ... I just want to drop inches I guess?!
-
you misread .. I gained 10 lbs and now I weigh 133 lbs 8 st is 112 lbs ... I don't knwo where that number came from
-
thanks ... maybe I over shared info so I guess I just wanna know if phenolox works :-)
-
?
-
YES! i second this..... finally i hear something smart.
-
totally get you. I've read all those books and I would agree that they're somewhat conflicting ... we could go on and on BUT my main concern was OP because she has suffered from an ED so her system is not perhaps optimal and hence any of our advice might cause more harm than good. I dunno maybe I'm just all wrong' I'm…
-
are you implying that OP and or I have no common sense? lol come on get real. sneakers and Gatorade? hell! I heard stories before luckily I was blessed with a brain and I can make the executive decision to change doctors ASAP!! if you read my og post I said there Are many MDs who are reluctant to further test tsh levels so…

-
An MD is always better than those of us without the proper training.....right? You know? like, they go to school for like a lot of years...? And yes there are bad MD's and there are good ones..... I didn't mean to upset you by my comment. I just think that an MD will have perhaps more insight into what's going on…
-
I am pretty much in your same situation. Nobody here is an MD so you won't get any consistent and accurate advice. Some will tell you that you're not tracking well and eating a million more calories than you claim to be eating (which only you know) :-) others will say losing weight is a simple mathematical issue (calories…

I actually take vitamin D supplements 5000 IU my D levels are good ...

i guess i will have to keep at it. it's just frustrating when you've been a certain size for years and all of a sudden you're clothes don't fit anymore!! (ok i might be exaggerating slightly but my clothes are tighter) it not a nice feeling. And that frustrates me!!! anyways,, thanks for the comment :-)
-
I know I'm not "losing" my clothes tell me so. the scale? tells me the same thing too. Body fat? has increased as well....i have a scale that more or less tells you the fat percentage and water percentage... everything has gone up :-( Im eating about 800 cals to 1000 cals a day (and apparently this is only enough to maybe…

yeah i think i decided NOT to go with paleo.....too much
-
thank you. Im going to log everything for a week and see what's going on. im thinking paleo is not going to work for me in the long run though, I don't have time to cook and to get everything organic is going to be pricey!.... im still deciding...
