Aww it's so disheartning isn't it?! I'm hoping we get some good answers too!

Hey, Just a quick quesiton: My fingers just touch not overlap, so would this be a medium or small frame? Thanks.

I think it's important to fit into a certain dress size. I look at that rather than my weight. I aim to fit into my UK size 10-12 jeans and trousers. I think if you have a healthy BMI then there's no problem. But there's no way a US size 14 (UK size 18) is anywhere near healthy. In England a 16-18 is classed as obese.

UK sizes start from a size 4 not a 6. A UK size 4 is a US size 0. I didn't know that US sizes went up in single figures. Like in the UK it's 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 etc... But I've seen alot of posts mentioning odd numbers like 3, 7 etc... But generally I think a UK size 4 for example is a UK size 8 x

I think anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it. All the posts I have read so far have been achievable weights I think. I haven't seen anyone saying they want to be a size 0 or anything. A US size 14 is a UK size 18. Which is quite overweight, just because it's the average doesn't mean that it's healthy.

How many sizes bigger/smaller is an American size compared to a UK size? x

It depends on how slim you are to begin with. If you haven't got much weight to lose you wont get that 'skinny fat' look. And to be honest, I'd rather have a bit of wobbly bits than be toned like a man

I eat whatever I want but withing my calorie allowance. I have a cheat day once a week sometimes. I'll go over by about 800 cals, I haven't had a problem & still lose weight. I used try to eat a bit less for the rest of the week.
-
Could it be your iron levels? I had really low iron level after I gave birth & I was extremly tired. Could of slept all day!
-
That's just weird :noway:

It's not healthy to eat the foods that you're eating, but I'm sure you know that already & that's not the question your asking! But yes you will lose weight if you stick to your calories. You can live off crisps all day but if you eat 1200 cals your defo going to lose weight. x

Thank you, this was the point I was trying to make as I'm active anyway & walk for at least 45 mins on most days. & yeah not to mention the cleaning and walking around with a baby all the time. I also think you can be healthy without exercise as I've always been healthy apart from now because I'm a bit over my BMI from…

Well done

I don't think I'm over eating as sometimes I leave about 50 cals or so. I am also losing at least a pound every week so it must be working x

Yeah I walk almost every day for at least 45 mins. Also exercising doesn't give me more energy :( It just makes me feel more tired which makes it harder to look after my baby because I just want to sleep hehe! x
-
I know that's what I'm saying! I always eat back my exercise calories so I don't see how exercising would make a difference to my weight lose if I'm just eating back what I have burnt off x
-
I'm pretty healthy anyway and have never been overweight up until I had a baby which is to be expected. I don't sit around all day or anything. But I don't get how doing my fitness DVD will make me lose more weight if I eat back the calories burnt anyway? By the way, the reason I don't want to exercise anymore is because I…

Don't get me wrong I don't sit around all day. I was just thinking that if I exercise & eat my calories back after exercising then what's the point? As I'm just eating the calories burnt anyway?!

I think bigger thighs are sexy! I would hate to have legs like a supermodel, it's so unfeminine  I don't get why a few people on here are saying that they want their thighs not to touch.. If they had a big gap inbetween that's too skinny in my opinion & doesn't look very nice. It's time to embrace curves. It's…

Thank you everyone, you have been really helpful

Wow that's pretty crazy, I didn't know that... Thank you

Thanks everyone. Well that's good too know & I really hope it is just water weight. I'm going to drink LOADS of water starting from now lol x:happy:
-
Sorry to say, but on both of them pics I think you definatly look WAY to thin. You're family are right to be worried, you look very unhealthy. I think when you can see bones, is when you're too thin... & Trust me, it really isn't a good look x

I know I've measured correctly because my partner helps me measure too. Also if I measured wrong it would only probably be out by like half an inch to an inch? Hmm, well I think I will wait a little longer & hopefully see my clothes getting looser soon! Thank you

Hey, I had a baby about 3 months ago now & I too am trying to lose my extra baby weight. I have 17 pounds to go before getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I started MFP 10 days ago & have already lost about 2lbs. Stick at it & it will work, also drink alot of water. It will flush out any water you're holding on to…

Hey all my fellow tall ladies  First of all let me quickly say, that don't you just  being tall?! We can put a few pounds on & it will look nothing compared to someone short... Anyway... I'm about 5ft 9 to 5ft 10 inches. I weight 178 pounds after having a baby nearly 3 months ago. I want to get back to my…
