CICO is simply a tool to help keep your caloric intake where you want it to be. In and of itself, it doesn't tell you how. That part is up to you. Most people know 250 calories of nuts (or any other wholesome food) is better than 250 calorie donut. But sometimes I want to eat that donut and CICO is a nice tool that allows…

Think of it more like flexing your middle section and back. If you're wearing a belt you want to push outward on the belt. It's often said the feeling is like taking a dump.

Yes, totally naked after my morning bathroom visit. I usually do it at the same day, time in the morning (basically under the same conditions). When I started I weighed myself throughout the day. First thing, in the morning with Pjs on, then Pjs off, before going to the bathroom, then after, before eating, then after. Just…

Honestly you don't need that much help. You're doing great. If you want to keep the weight off, you should only lose about a pound a week. Basically, any weight loss you have you want to be in the form of fat. If you lose more weight in a week than a pound, then chances are some of that loss will be in the form of muscle.…

I was going to ask for people's experiences myself. I wasn't going to try it for weight loss per se. But David Asprey(sp?) who created it, did so because he felt the brain ran on fats, so adding fat to the coffee 'woke' up his brain. But couldn't that waking up effect just come from the caffeine itself?

Lots of great responses. Don't give up. Hang in there. I'd agree sleep is very important.

Thanks Yopeeps, I have kept my fat loss small on a weekly basis, so I thought the same way. I don't think it matters as long as you keep the deficit small.

It basically means you're trying to cut down your fat and maintain your muscle mass.

I've had this problem as well. During times I 'suffered' with an episode. What gave me relief was rolling the bottom of my feet on a tennis ball or a lacrosse ball.

What about guys who are already married with kids?

Hang in there and keep it up. Don't quit!

What everyone is saying is true. It's really more about Calories in and Calories out. You can look at my diary. I'm in my mid 40s. I eat a little bit of Ice Cream almost every night. But I really watch what I'm taking in. And I've been losing weight consistently every week. Granted I weight train twice a week and try to…

What cruise line you going with?

The only way to truly keep the weight off is to change your lifestyle. You can't just go back to how you were eating in the first place.

This is one of the MOST supportive sites I've ever been a part of. Keep going towards your goal and don't quit.

1). Does anyone have any suggestions for healthy snacks that I could try that wont pack on the calories at night before bed? I'm finding that, at least for weight loss, it really doesn't matter so much what you eat as long as your caloric intake is at a deficit. You can look at my diary, I have ice cream almost every…

I actually weigh myself several times a day. Mostly, to see how my weight changes throughout the day. I also weigh myself completely naked and with my sleepwear...etc..etc... just to see the difference. For instance I'll weigh myself at night just before I go to sleep. Then again in the morning, after going to the…

Of all the countries in Europe I was never able to visit Spain. Very jealous!

I agree 3 days isn't that bad. But, something I can tell you that may motivate you... Whenever I screw something in life up. I get up in the morning the next day and say, "Today is a new day" and I try to mentally cue myself to continue with a blank slate.

I've been successful in other areas in my life that were challenging. Not necessarily weight loss. But I'd be happy to help give you some support!
