Hi, my body fat percentage went from 27% to 10%, but my face and stomach look significantly bigger than they did last time I weighed 155 lbs. I'm basing that on pictures not what I see in the mirror by the way. The reason I know this isn't the size of my stomach at 155 lbs is because in the past when my weight got above…

lol, the first month of weight loss I didn't eat more than 20 grams of protein a day. I was a 214 lb 6 foot tall male and I went on a 1,000 calorie a day diet and was burning 800 calories a day on a treadmill. The first month I lost 20 lbs and I'm pretty sure all of it was muscle. After that, I began eating 1,200 calories…

Thanks, since our weight naturally fluctuates by fractions of a pounds since we can never measure the exact amount of calories we are consuming, does this mean that we are actually getting fatter as we age even though our weight remains the same?
-
I understand why you would say that, but I'm actually looking at pictures side by side and I see the issue there. Of course, I see the issue in the mirror as well, but my judgement is based off the pictures only.

Oh thank you Jesus. I don't consider myself very superficial, but I didn't lose 60 lbs to look bad, you know? How much did you lose? It's great to hear you lost the weight and look good. My face looks like it fell off a cliff.
-
Thank you. Unfortunately, I'm really too light to drop much further without looking really ridiculous. I guess I'm stuck this way for life. I wish I would have known this before I got fat.

Yeah, I was only eating chicken that I bought at whole foods for the longest time because it had the weight right on the package. Whole Foods is key for weight loss

Thanks, I was really looking for someone else with a similar experience and how they would suggest I change things up.
-
I guess it depends on the weight of the chicken breast. They usually range anywhere from .2 lbs to .5 lbs, so calorie content will vary.
-
I would agree with you if I was older than 32. I'm not that vain, but I'm young and I'm at a point in my life where I need to be attractive for career and interpersonal reasons, especially because I live in L.A. I'm not sure how much visceral fat I've lost, but I'll look into that. Thanks for the tip.
-
Thanks, I don't know if I can muster that, but I'll try. Thanks.

It's good to hear that someone had the same issue. Unfotunately, I'm 15 pounds away from being underweight, so if I don't look right in 15 lbs, I'm stuck this way for the rest of my life. Also, If I lose those 15 lbs, my daily calorie max will be 1900 which is pretty tough to maintain for a guy who is 6 feet tall. I'm…

Wow, good job. I am starving all the time. My diet is very carb heavy. I guess I'm eating all the junk I used to eat and I now less protein so that I can hit my calorie requirement.
-
Thanks, I'll give it a shot, but I eat too many carbs to hit the protein requirement, I think.
-
I will try to get more then. I applaud you for being able to get that much without going over your calorie limit. That's really impressive to have that much control over what you eat. I have no control, hence why I gained 60 lbs in the first place.
-
Whoa, If I aimed for that much I would never have lost a pound. If a chicken breast is about 40 grams of protein and about 400 calories without skin then I would have to eat 4 of those just to meet that requirement. Doesn't that seem excessive?
-
Hi, I gained the weight when I was 30 and now I'm 32. Could those 2 years totally reconfigure where fat is distributed in my face and how much of it is in my face?
-
I have eaten at least 40 grams of protein a day. The first month of weight loss I ate probably 10 grams and lost 20 lbs. After that month I've averaged about 40.
-
Thanks for this. This is definitely what I'm experiencing. I'm just not sure what's causing it. I'll let you know if I die. Thanks again.
-
Thanks, that's good advice. Anytime I've gone to the doctor in the past for an issue, he's run a bunch of expensive blood tests and it turned out that I was fine. It's probably dehydration from not eating enough, as food also contains water. I'll definitely try drinking more.
-
Thanks, that's good advice. Being a man, I try to avoid the doctor at all costs, but it couldn't hurt.
-
lol, so funny
-
I guess I didn't realize that.
-
lol, too funny man
-
I'm sticking to Whole Foods where everything is weighed.
-
Haha, I mean I'm trying to lose weight. Isn't that why everyone is on here?
-
Lol, this is hilarious!
-
Thanks, I'm not sure what's wrong with that person.

It said 0 lbs lost.
