5'7 and 163, size 8. At my lowest (elite distance running) I was a 98. My goal now is to get to 140 which would put me at a size 4 or 6

I could have written your post. I'm now on zoloft and struggle with the fear that the drug is causing additional weight gain which makes me heavier, which makes me more depressed, which makes me want to go off of the medication that actually helps me feel better. It's a really stupid cycle. Feel free to friend me :)

"Just exercise more." Ya, thanks tips. Hadn't thought of that.

I've struggled with this in the past but just recently got back into the swing of things and go daily. My 1hr per day of exercise is part of my health commitment to my family - if I'm going to be here to spend more time with them in the future I need to invest in myself NOW.

Thanks everyone - I will try all of what you have suggested :) I can't eat raw potatoes because they grow in the ground, but I can eat them cooked. I'll try upping my red meats and maybe squeeze a 4th small meal in during the day to see if that helps. I work out 4-5 times/week with crossfit/bootcamps/interval style…

So, I mix things up. I have rods on my spine, so I understand the back pain and issues - physiotherapy will really help with that. My…

I agree with justiningham - Spartacus is a great alternative. I do 'Lady Spartacus' via youtube and have had amazing success with that.

Bump I'd like to know too :) I personally go with HRM, but I'd like to see what the pros say :)

I don't think that's a high number at all. Actually, at my size (5'6, 145) I always guessed about 200-250 calories for 30DS. I think the best to do would be to check again tomorrow and see how it goes. Have fun with the Polar!

I'm in the same boat sister! I need all the help I can get, I just can't seem to stay on track!

To 'start' and 'stop' you just hold down the button and it will say 'start' on the screen ... the same as you would do if you're tracking sleep :) I just got mine yesterday and am LOVING it so far.

I've done it - and wasn't a fan. I personally prefer more intense workouts like P90x and Insanity. I think the advantage of 30DS is that it's an easy workout to start with in that you learn the movements easily, and 20 minutes a day is easily attainable. But remember - you can't out train a bad diet. 30DS like any workout…
