  • :flowerforyou: Awesome job!! Keep up the great work!
  • I have a few tattoo's as well. I will honestly say that if you get another, you should get something with personal meaning. Any ideas you get from others are not going to be anything that is personal to YOU. You should get something that symbolizes strength for yourself. For me it would be a cross or something similar…
  • I wouldn't see why not. It's made with nothing but water! :) I drink decaf iced green tea all the time

  • You have to work through the BLAH feeling. Once you get started, you can keep going and will feel better! I'm having one of those days today too! The work won't do itself lol, you have to just get up and move! Keep going girl and don't give up!!!
  • I'm on micardis (blood pressure pills) to keep my bp lower due to kidney disease. I'm wondering the same thing. I have been finding it really hard to lose weight.
  • I'm in too! That's a great idea!!
  • I was at my Mom's all weekend and just on the go! It's hard to track food when you are trying to spend time with family and go shopping, etc. Just take it one day at a time and get back on track. Don't weigh yourself until the end of the week next week at the soonest (Just my opinion). You don't need the extra stress of…
  • That's Awesome!! Way to go!! :flowerforyou:
  • Yes, you should list your cardio and strength exercise every day! The profile is just asking how many days a week you want to work out. It doesn't know how many calories you are burning. Therefore, you need to add this to your diary everyday so you know what you are burning and what you should consume! Welcome to MFP and…
  • I saw a post somewhere on here before for Deviled Eggs using Yogurt instead of Mayo. Great for pool party! Also, a German friend of ours just made the best and refreshing salad. Sounds a little gross, but ooohhh so good! Mix Watermelon, Cucumber slices, Green Onions and some Feta cheese crumbles together. Have a great time…
  • Corn is considered an empty grain that is high in sugar and starch. Why not try some brown rice with asparagus or some other veggie? Just a suggestion :)
  • Hi, welcome to online MFP lol. Lots of good support here online. Feel free to add me :). Good luck on your journey!

  • I'm not an expert, but maybe because when you're playing soccer, your feet are out in front of you at time when you kick the ball and you are moving more. When you are running or doing elliptical, you are pretty stationary and straight up and down so blood is rushing to your feet. I may be wrong, but thought I'd try and…
  • Semper Fi! Spent a year at Camp Hansen :). Welcome to MFP, it's a great site with lots of support. Feel free to add me  and good luck on your journey!
  • I know what it feels like to be in pain and have stuff keep you from your goal. I have Polycystic Kidney Disease and arthritis in my lower back and knees and I'm only 34. Some days it's all I can do to get up and walk. You have to push forward sometimes, no matter what. Pain is just weakness leaving the body! That's what I…
  • Congrats and good luck!
  • Hi Lynn! Welcome to MFP! There are a lot of great people on here and tons of motivation! Good luck on your journey and if you would like a friend, feel free to add me :)
  • Thanks Deri for sharing! Sounds great! Not a fan of hummus, but might try it just once lol. Thanks to you both! Have a great and productive day!
  • Thanks so much! I have a Window's Phone and don't know if you can get this app on your cell, but if you can it's called Calorie Counter and has information like this available also! This is great for people that have to watch their sodium levels. You can work off calories, but can't work off sodium! Thanks for sharing!
  • I researched also and found 500 calories for an hour and that was for 150 lb person. So average 125 every 15 minutes. You can add your own exercise and put minutes and how many calories you burned doing that. Good luck!
