I miss having a workout buddy or at least a familiar face at the gym. It makes it very hard for me to go when I know no one. I am awake and she be walking to the gym right now, instead I am sitting in the apartment debating about going. The joys of new places.

Amanda, you know, my hubby said the hibernation thing. Being new to this type of weather has been an adjustment. I love your sex comparison! :p My thought is try to catch up on sleep on find ways to feel more springy and then spring forward on Sunday, with daylight savings time, with the gym!

Amanda, @huango, do you have lots of snow coming down? @jlkermode how much are you seeing? Chelsea had about 2" when I left this morning and the city seems to be ok. My commute was easy, but others didn't have such luck. Again, slept in rather than gym. What does anyone suggest for the fire to start under my bed/chair?!

I have taken to just standing and walking in place every hour for at least 5 minutes. Sometimes I do it more than once in an hour. It's better than nothing! I sit at a desk answering phones and responding to emails. Plus when I use the restroom I take a lap around my floor before and after the restroom.

Today was a blow it out day. Haven't had brunch in long time with hubby and indulged in the mimosas. But stayed within calories for the day. Tomorrow is weigh in day.
