Does anyone have experience with either? Would you say one is better than the other?

They serve fundamentally different purposes in your body. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that can aid in digestion, immune support, and urinary tract health, among other things. Psyllium husk is an indigestable fiber that can be taken in large amounts to stimulate a bowel movement. Which one you need depends on your goals.

As a fiber, I really dislike psyllium, though. Compared to other fibers (such as acacia, for example) it's much more violent, doesn't dissolve well in liquid, and can cause your bowel to start to become dependent on it if you use it long-term.

Good to know! Didn't realize they were such a difference. I had a friend tell me about how she uses psyllium husk three times a week, so was curious. Thank you for explaining that to me.
