Just do what you can! I have been the fast one and the slow one in a running pair, so I have seen both sides. When I was the "fast" one (I've never been actually fast, just faster than my friend), I didn't feel frustrated or annoyed with her pace at all. She got frustrated, however, and we didn't run together again. It…
...Is the price on that protein powder 22 dollars for a two pound container?
One pound. They have them at my local Walmart. Kind of a ripoff, IMO.

I second the Reebok recommendation. I have two pairs of their cold weather running tights, and they are by far my favorite workout clothing items.

@geneticsteacher, I am with @cwolfman13 regarding Kodiak Cakes. They are fluffy and delicious.

Spaghetti squash Greek yogurt Black pepper flavored Snapea crisps Coleslaw mix (great for crunch in salads or on tacos) Unsweetened almond milk Avocado

Individually wrapped dark chocolate Small packs of nuts (love the Emerald 100 calorie packs)

I tried the maple a while back and liked it well enough. It's quite sweet, IMO, and not as good as Peanut Butter & Co's Mighty Maple flavor, so I switched back to the Pb&Co. Edited to add: Did you like the cinnamon? I have thought about trying it several times...

I get the 150 calories or less box, and I love it. Not cheap, but worth it for the variety and portion control.

I can completely relate! I just turned 37 and have been fit and extremely active for the past sis or seven years. This year, I hurt my foother in January. It took several weeks to heal. Now I have a sprained ankle, which means no running, kickboxing, basically any of the things I love. Combine that with the stress of my…

5'2", maintaining at 108-111. My calories before exercise are 1600. I run or lift weights for 30-60 minutes most days, or do HIIT for 20 minutes or so.

Blue cheese Ranch Sour cream Cheesecake Cream cheese Cottage cheese (really really hate almost all white, mushy, tangy foods) Peas Pineapple Olives Pears (mealy, ugh!) Licorice Sauerkraut Organ or extremity meats I looooove apples, but I think Red Delicious are the worst fruit known to man.

I'm 5'2", so I feel your pain. We shorties just can't eat as much as taller women. Even at maintenance I only get 1600 calories pre-exercise. My solution is just not to talk about how I eat with most people, because they don't understand. It's not an ideal solution, but it saves me hassle.

I would also like to volunteer for this epic quest! Please add me to the group. :)

5'2", maintaining at 108-110 pounds. I get just under 1600 daily, not counting additional exercise. I will often skip eating my exercise calories back and bank most of them for the weekend. I too find clothes shopping frustrating, since some stores don't even carry sizes small enough for me (or short enough lol). Hoping to…

Thick and dryish. Soupy oatmeal makes me sad.

I've tried the 100 calorie Greek yogurt (strawberry) and it was fine. I have had good luck with most things. Hubby hated the salted peanuts (kind of sweet? Ew) though. My favorite things are the Sandwich Skinnys multigrain thins and their Belmont Salted Caramel Gelato. It's delicious.

5'2", 109 lbs, and I maintain on about 1600 calories plus exercise. If you can eat more, great, but we shorties don't always get to eat as much as taller people.

Shadow2soul, I am very near you, I think! How cool to find another rural Missourian here.

Aimeerace, we must be the same height. I got the same exact weights you did. I have a super small frame, however, and I'm not too curvy, so I look best at the lower end of the range. I currently weigh 108-ish, and I don't look too thin. I just need more muscle.
-
Yes! Those things were delicious!

5'2", maintaining at 108-111. I have a very small frame, so I could probably go lower, but it would be too difficult to maintain. I like to eat, lol.

I am 5'2" and maintaining at 109-ish. I think I look good at my current weight, and it's easier to maintain than my lowest weight of 106. My current goal is to get stronger. I have a tiny frame and no boobs, so at least I'd like some nice muscles. :) I notice a lot of people have high school or college weights as their…

This is too true! Finally, after years of thinking I looked bad at a perfectly healthy weight, I am realizing it's in my head. I feel good, and that's what matters. We all need to remember that perfection doesn't exist outside of Photoshop.

Don't beat yourself ip. I got a ton of stretch marks from growth spurts as a child, made worse by adult weight gain. They seem to have faded some with time and weight loss, but even if they hadn't, I think I notice them way more than anyone else ever will.
-
I'm also maintaining. Sent you a request. :)

I'm 5'2" and around 110 pounds, and 2000 calories would make me gain. Everything I've seen so far is in line with MFP in giving me about 1600 calories to maintain (plus exercise calories). I'm not sure where that 2000 calories came from in your original post, but I have no problems getting the nutrients I need while eating…
-
I love this idea too, but I have just transitioned to maintenance. Not sure if I'm ready yet. I'll see how I feel next week. Regardless, I wish you the best! :)

I second Carmenrosab on the Mossa fight workouts. Their weight training workouts are great as well. Both the hubby & I love all the Mossa stuff (except Groove...couldn't get into that one).
