Been at it since May 13th, and have lost 7 pounds. Each person is different, I guess. Just keep at it!

So glad you asked! I also feel like I'm slow too. Here are my stats. I started walking/jogging exactly 8 weeks ago. I jog every other day. I am 43 years old, haven't really exercised before starting jogging, and currently weigh 210. With that said, I jog exactly 4 miles in an hour and 5 minutes. That comes out to about…

I would either go with the flow, or opt out. I certainly would not ask this guy to pay extra for something else for me. There's nothing wrong with just eating the topping(s).

Thank you, everyone! BUMP!

I'm no expert here, but I had the same experience you did -- When I started out in April, I lost two pounds, then gained all of that back! Now, a month later after exercising everyday and counting calories, I'm finally starting to lose. I think when you started making changes (diet and exercise), that is just how your body…

You *can* see the difference!!!! Granted, the change isn't as drastic as some that we have seen posted here, but I really can see the difference -- Keep it up, and keep on taking photos. Way to go!!!! I look forward to being able to feel/see the difference on my journey. All my best to you!

I've been wondering the same thing -- How tight do we measure? How do we know it's consistent from one measurement to the next? I have so much fluff, it's hard to make sure my measuring technique remains constant... Any hints for me?

BUMP! You're not alone!!!!!!!! I also have a BIG problem with sodium. I know part of it is my food choices, but I still can't figure out how to stay under 2500 mg without eating just plants and nuts. Even cottage cheese, black beans and tuna (which I used to think was healthy, right?) has a lot of sodium in them. I've…

That happens! Just remember, tomorrow is a new day!!! Hang in there! Look at your successes, and don't worry about those bumps along the way.

One of the best success stories I've read, and I've read many of them! Thanks for posting!

Excellent question! I look forward to hearing what others have to say. For me, I have noticed that I really like the analog scales much better than the digital scales. They just seem to be more consistent and accurate. Also, I try to make sure I am similiarly dressed every time I get on the scale. Also, pick ONE scale, and…

I tried doing the same thing myself, and I ended up gaining weight (albeit slowly) -- I couldn't figure out why. Then after I joined MFP and read up on some of the information here, I realized my body had gone into starvation mode. So I would seriously try to be more attentive to what kind of calories I was eating, and for…

That's normal, and safe! Slow and sure is much better than the other way. Hang in there, it will add up after a couple of weeks!!
